Great place to stay in Napier
Pros:

The Quality Inn room was well equipped, plenty of room, good wifi and a comfortable bed
The restaurant was excellent we had meals there both evening, very tasty and good value
Team on site friendly and helpful

An overpriced major disappointment with rude staff.

Cons:

The property was old and tired and in need of a major upgrade. We did not manage to check in until after 3am. Check out was before 10am. At 10.02 am a member of staff banged loudly on our door as we were just about to leave and told us that we should have checked out by 10am. I have never had this experience anywhere in the world. A bit of latitude when they know we were late getting into the hotel would have been welcomed.

Cons:

The pool was dirty and it seems like the water is not circulated. During the night some insects came out of s hole in the bathroom tiles. They don't come out during the day sp we could not see it until too late to change.

It was a nice big room plus we had secure storage for our e-bike which was excellent.
Pros:

The location was perfect for the Art Deco Festival

Cons:

The towels and sheets could have been better quality.

The location was amazing, and 2 girls (indian) at reception was so friendly n nice when we check out (1st march 9am)

Cons:

When we check in the staff member at reception (28 Feb 2pm) was so rude and unwelcoming. Have been to so many hotels in the past but didn't had any experience with unfriendly staff, all the hotels or wherever we stayed in the past the staff at reception was always friendly n welcome us but first time we had this experience. My family n I was so excited for our trip, as we came from wellington but was so upset how rude the check in receptionist staff was, unwelcoming guest.
