It was sufficient for our needs for one night.
Pros:

Room was neat, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It was a welcome ‘refuge’ after tramping the Kepler. Bed was very comfy.

Cons:

Heater and one light did not work. Shower was pathetic. Taps over sink ran and wouldn't turn off fully. We had a standing heater as the room heater was not working but it was efficient. Bathroom was “tired” and old fashioned…shower over the bath.

Pros:

Friendly staff.

Cons:

Shower pressure was the weakest of 8 places I stayed at on this trip.
TV didn't work until adapter arrived and that took 2 phone calls and a trip to reception.
Ground floor had no lake view.

Comfortable quiet, a lot closer to Milford Sound then Queenstown.
Pros:

Comfortable beds and pillows.

Cons:

Very old motel but they had updated the room. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned to my standard but wasn’t terrible.

Pros:

Location was very good. Room was spacious & fairly well equipped. Games room was well stocked for multi-day stays. Room was very clean.

Cons:

Front desk wasn't welcoming & was quick to brush you away. Facilities were a bit dated. Toilet wouldn't flush properly.

An average place. But don’t know if it’s worth for the money, as I dont know the rates of nearby places.
Pros:

Decent place to stay.

Cons:

Old bathtubs and shower. Rooms and common areas have carpets on floor. No cooling. Only electric heater and fan were available for air conditioning.

It was a comfortable stay except the showers.
Pros:

Cons:

Toilets were not good. Hot and cold water was a problem , couldn’t get mixed water in the sink. The shower was terrible.

Good but aging.
Pros:

The rooms are big and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The facilities have aged. Some rooms have been renovated but not all. The bathrooms have leaky taps and no mixers. The photos on the main page are all from renovated rooms.
