The hotel was pleasant, with polite and welcoming staff. I enjoyed my stay, especially the spa, pool, and the great view from the rooftop restaurant. The room was spacious, and the breakfast offered a wide variety with good service. You can also enjoy a beautiful view from the 11th-floor restaurant. This is a great hotel for couples, families, and solo travelers alike.
The room furniture wasn’t in great condition and appeared dusty, even though it was clean. The air conditioner made some noise at night, but it didn’t significantly disturb sleep. It seems that the issue concerns only the unit in this room and is not a common problem.

The second stay at Taksim Gonen Hotel was excellent, with a spacious room and great view of Taksim Square, very good spa and facilities, and outstanding breakfast and service, making it highly recommended for its location and hospitality.

The location was good
Some of the staff had a poor attitude and the breakfast was very below average - every morning felt like a canteen dishing out food vs being at a 4 star hotel. The staff was also not friendly at all. We had to complain to the front desk to get water bottles daily, when I tried filling up my own water bottle at the breakfast dining area I was told I wasn’t allowed to do that. When I tried asking for a late check out, I got an outright ‘no’ without even checking if there was anyone checking into my room later in the day.
