It was a decent location, not too far from beaches.
Staff and management very rude and had zero communication. There was work being done for renovations. They used a cheap company and workers made some big mistake that caused major flooding and water damage. We had at least 6 inches of water in our room, ceiling falling down on us from water, all of our stuff damaged. Power out, lost hundreds of dollars worth of freshly stocked items in the fridge. From the start of it, they had zero communication with guests, we were told we would be reimbursed for every thing. We had to evacuate for 2 nights, stayed at another hotel down the street, was only covered 2 nights, no communication from management when they said they would contact us. We did not even know if we were going to be able to return. The front desk where we were staying contacted us and said they talked to the manager and were told we could return the next day, and let us know check out was 11am. We tried to contact manager again, were told he would call us back, never did. We had to go in person to confirm we were moving back in and when the earliest we could do so was, because we cant check out at 11 and wait hours to move back in with refrigerated items and dogs. We moved back in and communication was still zero, we had simple questions in regards to who, how we needed to submit our lists of damaged items with pictures and receipts, front desk couldn't answer us, they were rude and brushed us off with no compassion for what happened. Told us manger would either call us or come to our room. He never did. When we asked again in the evening, we were told he was gone and that we could talk to him during business hours the next day. Try and reach him the next day, they tell us hes unavailable and that he will call us, still never called us all day.

The people
the staff was very pleasant but the property was not.
You can hear everyone in the hallways, sleep was impossible because of how loud everything sounded like doors and walking in the hallways. i’m a brunette and found a bleached blonde hair in the bed. There was a hair in the bathtub too looked thick and short :/ the fire alarm was going off in the hallways all night too. i couldn’t wait until my stay was over.

Dirty underwear found in the room upon entrance. Cockroaches seen and dog pooped in the hallway.
Rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable, and staff were courteous
Minor dislikes the entrance and exits into the parking lot not visible seen from the street it was my first visit, and it was hard to see at night if your not familiar with the area
