Pretty decent for the price and in a safe area but a few cons that might be mildly annoying. The worst one of all being
Pros:

The location is in a great area and the police station is right next door so it definitely makes you feel safe, and it’s about the closest you can get to the naval base without staying in a shoddy part of town. The rooms are pretty spacious and well equipped for long term stays as far as amenities go. I liked that they have the rent a kitchen appliance program for free and full size refrigerators made it easy for me to meal prep and cook a lot. The gym is a great size, ideally only about 2 people could work out in there comfortably but I never had many issues running into too many people when I went. The laundry room is nice and they have a seating area and vending machines in it. The front desk staff was also pretty kind and helpful.

Cons:

The maintenance person wasn’t very helpful, and I had to request multiple times for my room to be cleaned when I was days or weeks past my scheduled time. They would say that someone will be there on X day and then they wouldn’t show. I was told for my long term stay someone would come in every 2 weeks to clean and yet I had to say something every time. It was also a bit frustrating that they don’t seem to care or do anything about people blasting loud music outside and smoking marijuana right outside. I also felt like the trash situation was chaotic as people would just throw their trash in the hallway and on the ground next to the trash bins when they were full and it would be that way for hours. They definitely need a dumpster for their patrons. Also one con about the rooms is that the “comforter” is paper thin and will barely keep you warm. I had to buy a quilt while I was staying there because I couldn’t get warm. The biggest con of all is that their WiFi is pure garbage. They advertise high speed internet but I have never been to a hotel with worse internet until I stayed here, the signal is also bad too it’s like you’re staying in a bunker. If you’re like me and plan on staying here and doing work or school work online during the day, well you’re SOL because the connection is so poor. I asked about the router being reset and it didn’t make a difference.

I was very pleased
Pros:

I liked just about everything. It had sold out or else I would have stayed longer. I wish they would have given me a heads up that they were selling out
The laundry and workout equipment were awesome

Cons:

A pool would have been nice. Maybe have more communication with the front desk

The Sonesta was reasonably priced, beds were comfortable, but kitchenette is lacking necessities.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and there were 4 comfortable pillows on the queen bed. The bathroom was clean and the various soaps were provided.
The office staff was very nice and helpful.

Cons:

There was no breakfast, we made our own. That's where the problems were. There are 2 burners, similar to hotplates run by a timer. It was confusing trying to get it to retain the heat. The timer on the wall seemed to regulate it. There were 2 plates, 1 saucer, 2 bowls, 2 cups, 2 forks, 2 knives and 2 spoons! There was a 4-cup coffee maker and no salt and pepper shakers. The office had the small packets. There was no plug for the sink, so we used the dishwasher daily for our few dishes. Had to ask for the soap packet every day. There was a long counter to eat on and work with tablets, but there was only 1 desk chair and 1 lounge chair. There was no 24 hr. coffee available. There was coffee in the a.m. in the lobby.
