I love the location in town I can walk to everything like restaurants, get a cocktail. I really enjoy how close it is to the metro line that takes you into DC. The facility was very clean. Also when I checked in the lady at the front desk was so helpful and a joy to talk with. It's nice to be greeted with a smile.
Parking could be more reasonable price so that is why I did not use valet parking. Other than that, thats it.

The Hyatt Centric in Old Town is like a boutique hotel in NYC: well-appointed, modern lighting, quiet, but small. The staff was awesome, and the room was quite comfortable. The big problem was they had no hot water, and the elevators did not work. They offered to put guests up down the street, but that was if the hot water problem was not fixed by 5PM. Unfortunately, I wanted to get into my room and get settled, so moving was silly. So, I took 2 ice cold showers and had to use the stairs (which I didn’t really care about). What was especially troubling was they could not comp anything having to do with my bill, because I had used Booking.com. At least, that’s what they told me. Despite the inconvenience of cold showers, which turned out to be exhilarating (though I would have rather had hot water — cold shaves suck), I was not that bummed about the hotel not being ready, really, to have guests. What annoyed me was not getting some $$ back for staying there.
