Delighted. Wish I'd had more time. Very near the train station.
Pros:

Real robes were included without requesting them! Bedside lights were on dimmers. Everything was super clean, tidy, new, comfortable, good looking, and respectful. Everything worked, including the TV, the big showerhead, the electronic plugs. The front desk person was very nice & personable.

Cons:

The breakfast service was the reason I didn't give the hotel a 10. I had a credit for breakfast, but there were no buffet or grab and go items at all; when I requested 3 muffins to go, there were only 2 available. I had to sign 3 times for the muffins. I think my credit was approx $35 for breakfast; 2 muffins were $10 or $15 - and there was no one around. Free coffee in the restaurant /entry area for persons on the go would be nice.

Was disappointed with some parts of my stay, how I was treated by some staff members.
Pros:

My second time staying here and I normally do at least 7 nights , property is nice and convenient with restaurants on site and entertainment and attractions nearby etc .

Cons:

My second time staying here first time was lovely and I have one staff who she remembers me and she’s very friendly and nice to me each time , willing to me . This trip was different with two other staffs ,upon checking in I noticed they gave me one key so the next day I go to ask for another the lady that was there said they are having a key shortage and some are coming so I can check back, I did check back later on , upon going back I saw the lady that’s always nice to meet and I asked for the key and told her of the conversation earlier that and she said she has no idea of that , no key storage , I thought that was weird . Anyhow the day before checking out I asked for late checkout and the person I saw is going to let me know that I will have to pay $50 for because of booked through a third party , I told her never mind. Like I said I’ve stayed there before and I’ve gotten late checkout with problem before . Anyhow I went back to the front desk and hours later to ask for late checkout again which a different staff member was there and she just said yes no problem and gave it to me. I spend lengthy stays there so I don’t understand the reason for such treatment, I wasn’t happy with that at all and I don’t feel comfortable with going back .

Pros:

Very comfortable rooms, extremely helpful and courteous staff, and unbeatable location in Old Town Alexandria.

Cons:

Only downside was not having a microwave in the room, although there was a communal microwave available for use in the lobby.

Great location. Hotel is clean. Bathroom was great. The bed was too low. The room size was small.
