Pool was 🥶 cold, elevator was broke, floor in the room was dirty, bed did not look professionally made

The staff was very friendly, and the facility was very clean.

Cons:

We chose this hotel because of the fact it had good ratings and had a pool. Upon arriving, we were told that the pool was not accessible and that we could cancel but they weren't certain when we would receive our money back. We couldn't really afford to do so, because we had been hours away from home, coming this way for a funeral. We understand things happen, but we would have liked a heads up or discount - we really had our minds set on swimming. We could have stayed somewhere cheaper if a pool wasn't going to be available.

The breakfast was great and the bed was very comfortable. I think the hotel overall was very clean and so was our room.

Cons:

We had no hot water when we first arrived, and we were told it was because there was a baseball team there that was getting ready to leave and that they were probably all showering at the same time. However, the following morning, we also had no hot water.
