I traveled nearly 10 hours from Chicago to attend classes at SBU and had booked this hotel the day before. When I spoke with customer service at noon, I was told we would be charged for an extra night if we arrived after 2 p.m. We rushed to arrive before that time and reached the hotel at 1:30 p.m., but there was no one at the front desk, and no one answered our calls.

After such a long trip, we were left without any assistance and didn’t know where to go. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I will never book this hotel again.

It was ok for an over night stay.
Pros:

Bed & pillows were comfy. Front desk staff very nice. Good location.

Cons:

The room smelled, the carpet was very stained. There were no amenities like shampoo, hair dryer, tissues, etc. the was one bar of soap. Also there was no coffee in room or continental breakfast
