The staff said the walls were thin but I didn't hear anything! The staff are the nicest out of all the motels/hotels we have been too and we're homeless so we have been staying in motels for almost a year so I can confidently say they have the nicest staff!
I didn't like that they didn't serve the coffee all day because it's absolutely delicious!!!!
Serious note my only "complaint" is the bathroom is a little tiny but honestly NOT a deal breaker!
Close to what we needed
Room dirty. Fan not working in bathroom
Very large hairball in tub drain
I needed to be in Seattle for four weeks for cancer treatment (I went home on weekends). Extended Stay America-Seattle-Lynnwood was the perfect place to be. The rooms I was in had a small kitchen sink, a two burner stove, a microwave, and a full size refrigerator. I was able to bring some prepared food from home as well as prepare food in the room. The room was nice with a big window. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. It was a great place to stay.
Breakfast
Nothing
I stayed at this Extended Stay America location for three weeks, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.
During my first week, the sensor on my room door stopped working properly. Every time I needed to get into my room, I had to go down to the front desk and ask someone to unlock it for me. Even the staff’s master key often didn’t work on the first try, so it became a frustrating and time-consuming process. This went on for an entire week.
I asked one of the front desk employees if I could switch rooms because of the ongoing issue. Instead of trying to help or checking if another room was available, his response was simply, “For what?” I found that to be unprofessional and dismissive.
The problem with the door was never actually fixed. It wasn’t until my second week, after I spoke with a female manager, that she was able to move me into a different room. I appreciate that she stepped in and helped, but it shouldn’t have taken that long to resolve an issue that prevented me from accessing my room without staff assistance.
Housekeeping was another major disappointment. Since I stayed for three weeks, I was told my room would receive a cleaning every two weeks. That never happened. During my last week, I requested housekeeping and was told someone would come on Wednesday. Nobody came. I was then told the housekeeper had called in sick and that they would come Thursday. Thursday passed with no cleaning while I was at work. Later that evening, housekeeping finally arrived, but by then I was already back in my room and too tired to leave while they cleaned. I asked if they could instead come Friday morning while I was at work, and they agreed. When I returned Friday, my room still hadn’t been cleaned.
By that point, it was my last day, so I didn’t bother asking again. I understand that unexpected things happen, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and customer service throughout my stay was frustrating. Between the unresolved room access issue, having to rely on staff just to get into my room, and never receiving the promised housekeeping service, this was not the experience I expected.
I appreciate the manager who eventually helped move me to another room, but overall my three-week stay was disappointing, and I would not stay at this location again.
We called when we booked our stay and they were able to get us checked in a couple hours early and we really appreciated that. The night auditor was accommodating to my quarter exchange for laundry and was very friendly. However, we asked for a one hour extension for check out being that I had an appointment nearby. Although I understand that we were asking for something that was not an expectation; it has always been our experience at ESA that they have let us check out a smidge late (I've stayed at the Bellevue Premiere suites, Redmond, Mukilteo, and Bothell locations). I always make sure to strip the bed and put all the used towels in the corner and take out my own trash so that housekeeping doesn't have a big mess after me. The blond woman who claimed to be the manager (even though she was wearing sweatpants) was constantly hassling us when it was clear we were clearing out the room, it would be one thing if we were trying to squat but we were actively moving out and my boyfriend stayed in constant communication with the front desk so they knew we were leaving. I was scooping up the last of our items and the "manager" kept pounding on the door calling my first name like she knew me which I would expect from some 2 star budget friendly economy motel with untrained staff; not from an ESA. The manager waited at the door and when I walked out she stepped into the room and said "smoking in the room"; which is another thing I'd only expect from a budget motel. We don't smoke and it was really disrespectful to be treated like that. It was 11:42 am when I left and check out is at 11 am.
Another issue I had was that the bathtub did not drain correctly (standing in water for our showers) and the drain stopper was just sitting on the bathtub ledge which is not what I'd expect from this establishment, it was also dirty on the side where the hinges meet the tile for the ADA seat.
I also woke up with four HUGE spider bites that are concerning to me.
Great place. Newly renovated!
Erika and Cassandra have both went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcome.
It also helps it's close to I-5 for quick access to Seattle and beyond!
Can't go wrong here.
Location was vey good , room was nice
Breakfast was a c- at best was told their supplies were a weak late no cream for coffee or tea no diet sugar no it’s for coffee which is a safety hazard if it go spilled on you no much to grab and go with ,I would suggest u leave the coffee or tea out for patrons all day or at least till 5 pm
The entire building is being remodeled. It looks great! The rooms are bright and modern. My room was quiet and comfortable The staff are all friendly and helpful. I will come back here in the future.
Love the location there are so many places to shop and eat.
The Atmosphere is very peaceful.
The Rooms are very spacious and clean.
The price is very reasonable.
Smells a lot like dog and shit
The breakfast is very poor.
Sometimes we can find a muffin and is between the time they served the breakfast.
We stayed for almost a month an no body came to clean our room once, and we asked at the front desk about the service but nothing happened.
Unfortunately we have had to staying for a couple days more and still no body showed up up to clean.😕
excessive noise above my room from a second floor guest. I complained the very first morning. Nothing changed. When I went to the front desk again I was told there " is a third person that they didn't know about staying in the room who has autism and paces all night long. I was not offered a different room. I checked out at 1 pm . I was charged for another day. I requested a refund from the front desk and in writing to extended stay and have heard nothing. I deserve a refund.
Very nice and clean rooms
Room was so cold when first entered
The staff is very friendly and helpful
