The showers extrater fan doesn’t work. And the fan in our room wasn’t up to keeping the room cool enough. Som of the soc

Very Disappointing
Pros:

Location is fantastic, right in the centre of Aberdeen.

Cons:

The hotel was honestly terrible. The photos make it look much better than the reality of it. Musty smell, sheets with burn marks on them, dirty carpets, alcohol bottles left around the hotel, staff dry and pretty unhelpful. I don't ever do reviews but this was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at, and felt I had to so people can save their money.

Despite unfortunate accident we enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Room was fine.but a little tired. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Location was good for us

Cons:

I did not like the stairways .I’m elderly but found the dark woodwork and very dark purple carpet was to me difficult. I did in fact fall down a whole set of stairs and ended up on one of the landing with such a clatter that other guests came to help me to make sure I was ok. However despite staff being well within earshot not one of them came to see what the commotion was about. I don’t know how I would have managed without the kindness of other guests.
I also thought reception staff could have been more polite. I said good morning when passing reception on our way to breakfast but never got a reply . I do t think it takes a lot of effort to be polite.

Would not recommend, better value for money elsewhere and will not be staying again.
Pros:

Location adequate, close to nearby shops!

Cons:

The room was poorly ventilated, cooling fan barely worked, toilet floor was caving in and the lack of plugs on one side of the bed!
