Tired
Pros:

The location

Cons:

It was so run down, tiny rooms and bed, broken mouldy tiles in bathroom. Nothing like the photos, the mist run down hotel ice ever stayed in.

Tired but adequate
Pros:

We picked this hotel really for its location to train station and theatre. Arrived slightly early for check in but as room was ready was able to check -in straight away. Also a bonus is the standard late check out time of 1200

Cons:

The room was cold and the sink plug didn't work. Bit slow on filling up buffet breakfast

Basic, but OK
Pros:

Perfectly positioned for our theatre visit. Our room looked very tired. The carpet was rumpled and worn. Bed was OK, albeit it was so lightweight, the slightest nudge moved it. My wife sat on the bed to read, and the bed rolled away from the wall. I had to wedge the bed to stop it moving.
Breakfast was very good, except for the coffee. It was vile.

Cons:

Breakfast coffee was arguably the worst I've had in many years. It was bitter and unpleasant. I ended up opting to pay £2.50 for a cup made by the staff. It was very nice.
Lightweight free rolling bed. Needs the castors removed. Carpet long past its service date.
Lighting for my wife to do her makeup was non existent.
