Hotel Yasmak Sultan

De ontvangst was erg hartelijk en vriendelijk. We kwamen al rond 07.30 uur in de ochtend aan en konden zonder extra kosten direct één van onze twee kamers krijgen. Dat was na een lange reis echt heel fijn.

De kamers zijn niet groot, maar wel schoon, comfortabel en prima voor een stedentrip. Het ontbijt op de bovenste verdieping was uitgebreid en lekker, met een mooi uitzicht over de Bosporus. Ook de chefkok was erg vriendelijk.

De locatie is uitstekend. Tram en metro zijn vlakbij en bezienswaardigheden zoals de Hagia Sophia en de Grand Bazaar zijn goed te voet bereikbaar. Voor ons was dit een zeer goede uitvalsbasis om Istanbul te verkennen.

Le personnel a été très agréable, aux petits soins pour tous les clients. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et les chambres sont confortables. L'hôtel est situé dans la partie touristique et historique de la ville donc nous avons pu tout faire à pied.

Great location near major attractions in The old city. Rooftop view was over the golden horn and breakfast good. The chef also made extra gluten free bread and sweets for me. Pool was refreshing but small.

Convenient location close to most of sites and walkable with a good pair of shoes.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Yaşmak Sultan as a family with our 9-year-old son, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel. It’s a bargain for its location, room, services and atmosphere.

The location is fantastic. It’s absolutely central but located such that there is relative little noise. We could not here anything’s our room from the buzzing streets nearby. The tram stop is only about 50 metres away, making it incredibly easy to explore Istanbul. Taxis are also passing by constantly, so getting around could not have been easier.

What really stood out, however, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they were always ready to assist us whenever we needed something. They even helped us find a parking space for our car, which was a huge help. To our great surprise, we were also upgraded to the hotel’s best suite, which made our stay even more special.

After spending long days exploring Istanbul, the swimming pool was fantastic for cooling down and relaxing. The reception staff at the entrance and the staff at the pool were all wonderful and always greeted us with a smile.

The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of food and drinks. The view from the breakfast area was simply spectacular, overlooking the Bosphorus and Hagia Sophia.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, cooling the room down quickly after returning from the hot Istanbul streets. The cleaning staff, as well as everyone else we encountered at the hotel, were consistently friendly and attentive.

Overall, this was an excellent family-friendly hotel in a perfect location, with outstanding service and wonderful facilities. We would absolutely recommend the hotel and are already looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Istanbul!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel during our holiday in Istanbul. We stayed in a family room consisting of two connecting rooms, which was a very comfortable and practical option for travelling as a family.

The location is simply fantastic. Most of Istanbul’s main sights and places of interest are within easy walking distance, so you can reach many of them with just a short and pleasant walk. This made it very convenient for us to explore the city and really enjoy our stay.

The whole hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned every day with great care. But, without a doubt, what we appreciated the most was the friendliness and attentiveness of all the staff. They were always very kind, helpful and willing to assist us with anything we needed. We even had a problem with our flight, and they helped and advised us as much as they could. We really appreciated this, and it made us feel very well looked after.

Breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety of good-quality food, combining international options with traditional Turkish dishes. A wonderful way to start the day before heading out to explore Istanbul.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and felt comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again if we return to Istanbul.
