Pros:

Great location. Front desk staff were very friendly. Rooms had lovely little extras, fridge with free drinks great bonus. Very clean hotel.

Prettig hotel op een goede en bereikbare locatie
Pros:

De hotelkamer is klein, maar zeer compleet en efficiënt ingericht. Alles wat je mag verwachten van een viersterrenhotel is aanwezig. De kamer was schoon en netjes bij aankomst. Het tweepersoonsbed is ruim en ligt comfortabel, wat heeft bijgedragen aan een goede nachtrust. Daarnaast is de kamer goed geluidsdicht; er was geen hinder van geluiden van buiten.
Ook de badkamer is aan de kleine kant, maar volledig en praktisch ingericht. Het ontbijt in het restaurant was prettig verzorgd: er is een klein maar kwalitatief goed buffet met verse producten, aangevuld met de mogelijkheid om à la carte een warm gerecht te bestellen.
Het personeel is over het algemeen vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ligging van het hotel is uitstekend, op steenworp afstand van station Paddington. De wijk waarin het hotel is gelegen is leuk, mooi en voelt veilig aan, met diverse fijne restaurants, bars en winkels in de directe omgeving.

Cons:

Het hotel is netjes en goed onderhouden, maar oogt hier en daar wel wat gedateerd. Verder zijn er eigenlijk geen noemenswaardige aandachtspunten. Al met al is het een prima hotel en zeer geschikt voor een weekendtrip.

Highly recommended for location and value for money.
Pros:

We were upgraded out of the blue from a "cosy room" to a "suite" - an added bonus - and we were very happy with the comfortable and much more spacious room we were given. My recommendation therefore is to go straight to a suite and skip the cosy room. The location of the Mercure is excellent: walking distance to Paddington Station and the Underground, with numerous coffee shops and restaurants close by, and Hyde Park not too far away. The hotel was also accommodating as regards storing our luggage until our flight departure time.

Cons:

The view was pretty terrible. Looking out onto a brick wall mostly. But then we were upgraded and we were hardly in the room for any length of time so I can't really complain.

Fantastic
Pros:

The hotel was ideally situated 4 minutes walk from Paddington station and near lots of little shops places to eat. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. We were able to leave our bags before and after check in which was extremely helpful.

Excellent Hotel in a really good location. Very well presented comfortable and spacious rooms. Five minutes from the station and also Hyde Park. Very nice breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff.
