For the price and convenience of location, if you like semi-cool temperature rooms with loud AC, go for it.
Pros:

Location, TV options to watch Netflix in addition to many channels.

Cons:

The AC was loud and as a woman suffered hot flashes the temperature didn’t really change despite lowering the temperature and setting fan on high. A ceiling fan would be nice also to better circulate the air, as with the humidity the room was stuffy. My husband and I both kicked our chins on the metal piece sticking out at the end. Also, front lady wasn’t rude, but appeared to be doing all the front desk work alone.

Super place, friendly staff - a bit of groundskeeping and repairs are all that's needed.
Pros:

Elizabeth was on the front desk and when we discussed first floor due to needing a recliner for my spouse she gave us the King instead which had a recliner! No need to cart the chair from the car. And, the Bleu restaurant next door was terrific, 10% off the Bleu bill for staying at LaQ. Breakfast was terrific.

Cons:

Well, there was lots of clutter around the grounds, and two of the entrance doors did not work with our key - so lots of extra steps to find a door which would work.
