Not like other LaQuintas we are used to
Pros:

Friendly staff. Everyone was nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. It was more than adequate for an overnight stay.

Cons:

The carpet in front of our room smelled like a dirty diaper. The key cards were extremely difficult to open doors. The lady in the room next to ours had the same problem, and a couple trying to get into a side door that I was going in through could not get their card to work either. Had to walk around the building to try another door, or continue walking to the front entrance. The breakfast consisted of a slice of toast (30 minutes before 9 am end), 1/2 spoon of eggs, several grey sausage patties, some cereal, and waffles. No fruit or yogurt. The entire hotel was old and run down. We normally love LaQuinta, but this one was just ok, not really worthy of the brand.
