Such a neat old hotel - a must do!
Pros:

Such a neat old hotel. We stayed in the suite 201 which was perfect for 2 couples. It can actually hold a total of 6 people, but with only 1 bathroom, it was nice for the 4 of us. The large room accommodated us to have drinks and snacks after dinner and play board games. The shops close early so hanging out in the hotel was just fine. We were able to tour the facility but did not experience any paranormal activity. Still cool and a must to in Amish country!

Right on Main Street, very clean
Pros:

Very old hotel, so there is no elevator. We had room 210 in the back to avoid street noise. Very clean, modest bathroom with HOT shower. Bed was soft but otherwise fine. Walls are thin as might be expected in an 150 year old hotel, but our neighbors were quiet. If you want a moderately priced room for a quick overnight, this fits the bill.

Pros:

Great service good and professional people and EXTREMELY friendly. Parking is the only issue that needs to improve, but being downtown may hinder the options
for the Hotel. The restaurant is a good option after a long day of sight seeing. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN !!!!!

History, Comfort and Cleanliness
Pros:

What a great place for a weekend getaway! The Hotel's historic past is highlighted by the antique and vintage decor that is everywhere. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated, with awesome views of the courthouse and street. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom newly refurbished and spotless. Staff were welcoming and informative. Great value especially during the fall when the tourist season in Amish country is in full swing. Hope we can stay again!

Pros:

The hotel is unique. The structure dates from 1847and the wallpapers, floor coverings, knick-knacks reflect the period. However, there is an elevator and air conditioners, so modern comforts insure a good night's rest
