A decent place to stay for 3 days.
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very pleasant staff

Cons:

Breakfast was pretty lame. We decided to eat out each day. The room needs a tea pot or a way to make hot water for tea. The in room coffee maker is much too small.

Convenient, efficient, but I won't bring my dog if I stay again.
Pros:

The location was ideal for our plans and the staff was attentive and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was decent and they replenished everything pretty quickly.

Cons:

Yes, they are pet friendly.But what they don't tell you until check-in is that there is a "$100 non-refundable deposit" for having your pet stay in your room. A "non-refundable deposit" is a fee that you cannot get back and should be stated as such prior to check-in. My dog was an angel compared to the screaming kids running around the lobby Friday evening/night, disturbing the rest of the guests gathered there for conversation and comaraderie.

Good hotel, good staff
Pros:

Stayed here recently for a wedding taking place nearby. Front staff was very good and efficient. Room is excellent - modern, clean, comfortable beds - overall very, very nice. We had an excellent stay - recommend highly.

Perfect place close to Highway and Shops
Pros:

Staff were amazing from front desk to breakfast and housecleaning. Hotel was super clean. Lots of parking. Easy check in service and check out. Reasonable price and the rooms are large and spacious .

Cons:

The only issue is the price of water bottles however there are many stores close by to purchase from if need be.

I have stayed in this hotel several times before and the quality appears to have gone down each year
Pros:

Not much, only the location.

Cons:

1. Room not ready on time
2. There was a (known) leak which saturated part of the carpet in my room
3. I requested a walk in shower (I’m disabled) but I did not get one. The tub/shower did have a seat but that was never mentioned.
4. Was told b’fast was until 10 but it was cleaned up @ 9:30, including the coffee.
5. Manager was condescending, other staff were very young + seemed unaware of policy when I checked out early
6. Room was only moderately clean.
7. Bed is very high, even in a handicapped room. I had to borrow a stool to get on the bed.

Look elsewhere ...
Pros:

If you are looking for a good night sleep, or expect to be in the room you paid a premium for, look elsewhere.

We stayed here previously and were underwhelmed, this recent and final stay was worse. We decided to stay here because the location was convenient. What we received was a bad night sleep (i.e., people talking in the hall and outside until 2:30 am, disturbing my sleep even when running a white noise machine on my phone), and to make matters worse this was in a room that we did not reserve (i.e., a downgraded room).

Customer service is also lacking, at the front desk, and during subsequent follow-ups -- seven (7) follow-ups to be precise, after the front desk person rudely said they could not do anything about the downgraded room and handed me a business card of someone to contact. I am extremely disappointed--- a poor stay, numerous polite follow-ups without any response until the 6th and 7th attempt, when further escalating the issue, all this to receive an insulting minimal number of points added to my Marriot account.

I have had some good experiences with Marriott over many years, at their highest status level at one point (i.e., I spent MANY nights at different hotels, for business and pleasure) and good experiences recently at other locations -- this hotel is an exception. Their competition will receive my business when I am in the area next time, the next time, etc.

And for comparison, same trip, stayed at a Hilton property: Noticed an issue on the final bill after leaving, called the hotel and the person who answered the phone took the information and said it would be looked into. The next day, there was a related refund issued via my credit card. A refreshing difference.
