Ideal for town centre.
Staff were lovely..great location .We were aware the surrounding nitelife would be noisy so not too shocked but some of our party complained they didn't get to sleep till 4 am..
There's a small lift which is very temperamental. If wheelchair bound be advised to check before arriving that it's working. Our double room was ok..we were upgraded to a 3 bedded room. Nice comfy bedding. No wardrobe though. The room was spacious, a single wardrobe would be ok better than none ..Bathroom was okay ,needs a full refurbishment but clean..breakfast was hit and miss. Basically overcooked ,have to request a fried egg. Only scrambled under the hotplate.
We only stayed one night and found it adequate but wouldn't stay for a longer visit..
Very clean and central to Carlisle
Service.location and breakfast excellent down side is some rooms need updating
Bath panel hanging of and tap constantly running in first room but managed to change rooms and that was excellent 👌👌 uu
Great breakfast, central location
Nothing
The location was good for us
The hotel lift was not good as with only two people in it didnt work and it was rated for five.
No facilities for us as partially disabled
Left a message on this site for a room near to the reception but the receptionist said they didn't get it and put us in a room on the 4th so my wife changed to the first floor which was okay but was very hot
The hotel was very tired and needed some refurbishment

Convinced for location
The area
the location as always is ideal.
lift was playing up. staff were demented with it stop working. I was scared to go in myself. was worried it was going to break completely as we were on the 3rd floor and I would never manage the stairs.
Central location
Rooms could do with a freshen up but we're clean
Good position for the railway station.
The staff were very helpful
The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
The windows are only part secondary glazing so some of them are single which allowed the street noise and music from the bars etc across the road to be heard till at least 3am, so obviously we all had a terrible night's sleep.
The bathroom was quite scruffy with a large crack in the sink and the bath panel looked like they got it out of a skip. No hot water in the morning also.
Breakfast was OK. Had to wait for certain items quite a while but staff were quite limited and they were doing their best, it wasn't a huge problem . Plenty to choose from.
A fridge in the room
Good location as we needed to be at station for 7.15
I have to bear in mind this was quite cheap But the place generally was tired and dated. Not too clean in places Poor lighting in the room (119) We didn’t have breakfast
