Good location and slow dogs to stay
Was very shocked being supplied with ear buds for the loud music. Shouting
Old style hotel with some great features. Not the best location in Carlisle. Carlisle cathedral amazing and organ recital taking place. Well worth a visit.
Upgraded to superior room. Unfortunately dark and dingy with a view of a shed roof out of the window. However the room was quiet at night.
The shower was very powerful, the breakfast was good

Out dated and grubby hotel
Staff are very welcoming & the hotel is really nice
The only thing I didn't like was, the lift was broken at 1 point & we were on the 3rd floor, it was fixed really fast but not before a trip up 3 flights of stairs.
Breakfast was fine with helpful staff
We were put in room 113 and never told it was going to be horrendous noise till 3am from nightclub across the road.

Wow the location was fantastic location right in the town centre .
Breakfast was one the best ever had could not rate that any higher .
The entrance hall was beautiful and the stair case possibly from sister ship of the Titanic so the historic board but no prove .
Noise from the streets below .
The bathroom was dated & decor tired. I stayed there on a Saturday night & the street noise & banging music from the ‘Vodka House’ opposite till 2am was awful. Staff were unhelpful when I asked upon arrival for a room away from Main Street. Very poor value for money & I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Das Zimmer war ungepflegt bis dreckig, fleckiger Teppich, besudelte Möbel und schlecht gemachte Betten. Das Haus ebenso.
Wir sind nach dem Chekin sofort wieder raus ... nie wieder!
