The saying third times a charm, doesn't fly here.
Pros:

After a few times all the stairs became fun. There was a staff member in the breakfast area that was very helpful.

Cons:

The first room was very hot. The second room the toilet didn't flush, and the third room was intensely loud more so than expected, There is understanding to loudness, but that loud between 3 to 7 in the morning is insane. Overpriced parking when areas of the website said free parking and other parts said discounted rate

Family sleepover
Pros:

Loved the location. Rooms were very spacious . We were looking for family room for 2 adults 2 children . There isn't any availability so we had 2 twin rooms .
Breakfast was 1st class as usual lots of choices. Staff lovely . Definitely be back out favourite hotel in Carlisle

Cons:

The heat in the rooms were unbearable last night otherwise ok, we had fans in rooms. It can be very noisy in rooms at front of hotel due to main road outside and the entertainment nearby

Would not stay again.
Pros:

Proximity to Cathedral and town was good

Cons:

The hotel was dirty, really dated. The bed was a tiny double. Bathroom was really dated. The lift didn't work most of the time and so it was a long hike to the 3rd floor. One lady got stuck in the lift. The quality of the breakfast was not great. We felt like the hotel was on its last legs.

Horrific - I was supposed to stay for two nights, but couldn’t bear it for another minute - so painful.
Pros:

Absolutely nothing

Cons:

Bed, shower, ventilation, carpet, bed cover which had stains on it, bath that had someone else’s hair in it.

Cons:

Fenster könnten nur spaltbreit geöffnet werden und waren undurchsichtig mit Folie verklebt.
