Pros:

My partner booked out early. Not good.

Cons:

Noise, she was given ear plugs. Seemed very unsavery, didn't feel safe so went to elsewhere.

Pros:

Staff were friendly

Cons:

Everything else- grubby, run down, cold, noisey and family room was up and down 5 flights of stairs (4 of which would be unavpidable even if the lift was working.

Probably a grand hotel at some point i the past, but well past it's prome now.

Hotel needs an upgrade
Pros:

Not much.

Cons:

Lack of room servicing. Room only serviced once during 5 day stay.
Mixer taps for shower were hard to adjust to get right temperature. Need to be modernised.
Very thin walls, lot of loud chatting from other rooms late at night, dogs barking.
Early morning building work noise.
Breakfast room organisation haphazard.

Was good for the location and the room was standard and the bed was comfortable but don’t think k j would stay again
Pros:

The location is perfect for the city centre and the location from the train station

Cons:

The staff were not as friendly or helpful as you would like, the hotel and rooms them selves were absolutely roasting so didn’t get much sleep due to the heat.
Understand it is an old building but you can hear everyone walking in there rooms as the floorboards creek a lot.
There was a random man sat in reception asking for money to from guests which was uncomfortable.

Comfy bed, but would be better placed in another hotel.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The facilities were poor. 1 toilet roll between our family, no bin, 2 towels between our family. Very noisy. Breakfast was awful and unorganised. Very minimal. Tea and coffee in canisters that were also awful. Not worth £11 each and you definitely do not get your moneys worth. There’s a Wetherspoons across the road, get your breakfast from there. Glad it wasn’t a long stay.
