The St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio

I stayed here for a conference in April and booked several rooms once the room block was established. Not sure what happened but even though I reserved King rooms, we only received one, and were given double beds for the rest. The hotel is very classy and suited our needs for the couple days in town.

The rooms are well appointed and the bed and pillows were excellent to sleep in. Being that it is an older hotel, it took awhile for the hot water to come out of the shower head. The second day, the water pressure was extremely low, so I’m not sure if that can be fixed or not. I noticed a slight musty smell in the rooms, just wasn’t sure if it was due to the humidity.

They have a small gym on the 6th floor which I used. Not many weights, but a couple pieces of cardio equipment and tread mills. They provide water and damp towels as well.

The hotel is located a couple blocks from the river walk, so it was in a convenient location for us, close to the restaurants, bars, and the Alamo. It is only 15 minutes from the airport as well.

I would return if in the area.

The valet service was great. Adam was very respectful and extremely nice. He went over and beyond helping me get my luggage in and out of my car, up the stairs, and into the lobby. Adam even told me some great places to go eat and places to visit. Adam is hands down the best!!

The service provided by valets and doormen at St Anthony’s was spectacular. Coming back from an evening stroll we would be greeted by doorman with a ‘Welcome Back’, and it’s the little things like that which made our stay memorable. Maid service was just okay - they didn’t do restocking while cleaning, but because we had such great doormen service, I’m giving 5 stars. I especially want to call out Roldan, Henry, and Zackary for helping us everyday with either storing our bikes, helping with luggage, or just being genuinely welcoming every encounter.

All Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is beautiful and great location.

The atmosphere was great and the hotel was super organized on a busy weekend in San Antonio! Joshua at the valet was helpful when I left something in my car and made us feel super welcome!

I had a quick overnight stay at The St. Anthony. The hotel staff were welcoming and extremely accommodating. Because I arrived late, the hotel was very quiet and serene. The decor is opulent and stunning, filled with incredible art and history. My suite on the sixth floor was spectacular with beautiful finishes, cozy linens and relaxing bath products. I will definitely return so that I can fully enjoy all the amenities, restaurants, and services that this gorgeous hotel offers. On departure, Gavin and Eli in Valet assisted me with transferring my belonging from a fully packed rental car into my husband's car. It was no small task. Gavin and Eli were efficient, prompt and gracious. Great attitudes all around and Gavin shared amazing historical information about the hotel and chandeliers while completing this task. Their assistance was greatly appreciated and completed a quick but flawless stay.

Looking at my calendar to see when I can return to this gem in San Antonio.

Valets are great here and available 24/7. Staff at the hotel and bar are also very courteous and knowledgeable.

Angel was so helpful with and kind. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere.

I stayed here a couple nights ago with my wife and the experience was great - the rooms were clean and the views were wonderful. I was especially impressed with the valet Angel. Angel was really courteous with his service and efficient with our vehicle. Really made us feel welcome from the get go on top of everything else. Will definitely be back!
