Rooms are large, TV was okay, Shower was good!
It’s fairly run down, wallpaper is pealing, it could use some paint etc. It’s showing its age I think. Terrible coffee at breakfast, it was like tea!
I asked for a handicap accessible room... They wouldn't even bring me a shower chair and never called us back!!
The fact that I couldn't take a shower
The room smelled like a wet basement
It was clean. The man at the registration desk nice and helpful
The man in the breakfast. He wasn’t friendly and walked away when I asked for a food tray. I wanted to take my food to my room. So I just got coffee…
Good location friendly staff

Location was good. Breakfast was cold and milk was not readily available.
Room had a strange odor. Door was hard to open. After telling the evening desk attendant that the room stunk, we were never offered another room. This happened on the first night check in.
Breakfast was great, loved the bagel & egg patty
the room was clean nice up to date bathroom
water pressure/flow in shower was terrible. My wife compared it to a vegetable mister in a grocery store. water was hot at midnite but only warm at 7am. And then the power went out. 8 o'clock am. staff was no where to be seen. We packed up and headed out ahead of plans. I had to yell at the desk to find someone. Your staff has no clue as to what to do in this situation. Did not know what a generator was.
Clean
Check in/ Check out was not friendly. at Check in - no information about location of elevators, breakfast times, wifi password or even the room number. At checkout - there was no power in the facility, and staff abruptly stuffled us to a side door. No sorry for the inconvenience. It was just rough.
The bed seemed hard, the pillows soft, and the toilet way to close to the floor. Just not my typical experience at a Hampton.
This should not be a Hampton Inn. This place is ROUGH. The rooms might have been renovated "recently" but they are worn. I knew as soon as I pulled in the parking lot and saw the shipping containers for storage this place was "in-progress" of the remodel.
Third floor completely closed for renovations. I was on the first floor, 111. The light switches sometimes worked, or were delayed in the light coming on. Odd. The room looked newer, but as soon as the lights eventually came on, you could see all the wear and tear on this room. Wallpaper was peeling, desk/table had dings/chunks of wood missing, and it smelled musty from the ancient AC unit in the room.
Pool closed for repair/renovation.
Shower was out of conditioner. I walked to the front desk to ask for more, I was told the hotel was completely out of conditioner. Breakfast looked terrible. I did a walk by and decided to completely skip it. None of it looked clean or fresh. Upon check-out (a Thursday morning around 7:30am), I was second in line and waited for someone to come to the desk. I watched the guy in front of me ring the bell. We waited and waited. I finally gave up and used the app to check out.
Only reason for the 2 stars is the location is decent to go get food (breakfast since you do not want to eat here) and the app worked for check-in/out and digital key services.
To be honest we started out the night at quality inn we booked with them because it was cheaper. Upon entering our room there we saw it was not cleaned and the beds were made but filthy with food crumbs and hair, bathroom had people belongings in it still and the tables were sticky. We were given another room and it was just as bad if not worse so we told them to forget it and left. Checked for a hotel close by and this property had availability. The gentleman who's name was Meet checked us in and was super polite and informative about construction and pool stuff and the room and property over all smelled clean and the room was clean and we felt more at ease being there.
I didn't like having to leave!
This was the WORST Hampton imaginable. Imagine a bad hotel, then double it. Then double it again. There is NO WAY this place is a 3, 4, or 5 star. Don't fall for it.
Night 1: A/C didn't work. We asked for a new room. "All rooms are booked," even though there are THREE cars in the parking lot. "Our technician left at 4 pm. There is nothing we can do." They were quite matter-of-fact, and clearly couldn't care less.
Night 2: Night was intolerably hot. We asked for a new room, "All rooms are booked," so they bought us a BOX FAN! Yep, dirty dusty BOX FAN!
Breakfast: Disappointing.
Cleanliness: Acceptable.
There is a Holiday Inn, a Fairfield, a Red Roof Inn, and probably others nearby. I promise, ANY will be a better choice. Don't fall for this place just because it's a Hampton. You've been warned.
I did not eat breakfast at the hotel.
Excellent breakfast. Hotel was convenient to areas I was visiting.
The heat/air in the room did not work properly. No blackout curtains so the room was bright all night. The shower stall was nasty, not from dirt or mold. It was chipped and discolored all around the bottom. Definitely needed to be replaced/upgraded.
Don't book this hotel. I showed up with a reservation confirmation through booking.com and the hotel not only wouldn’t honor it they wouldn’t help me find other accommodations. They blamed booking.com and booking.com blamed the hotel. Beyond frustrating.
