The lobby felt very Welcoming, I loved the decor.
Kaleem was very pleasant and suggested great local places to dine at.
I will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to family and friends. It's a mile away from the beach. It's also near a lot of attractions and shopping.
Thank you, Marriott for another great stay.
I liked that all the sights and locations we wanted to enjoy were so close to the hotel.
Restaurants were plentiful.
The hotel did not offer complimentary breakfast
Need to fix toilet.
The hallway was extremely warm on my floor. The rooms were air conditioned, but the hallway air wasn’t. The thermostat reading was 77 degrees. I reported it to the front desk, but they said maintenance had left for the evening.
All good.
It never fails to disappoint. I travel to Myrtle Beach every few months to visit friends and family. I have stayed here because it is close to my brother. I won’t be back. They can’t get it right. I stayed here in December 2024. The outside temperature was in the low 30’s to high 29’s. They assigned me a room where the air conditioner was running and where I could not turn on the heat. Eventually they gave me a different room. The house keeping is abysmal. The issues include failing to clean my room and not emptying the trash cans. This past weekend a housekeeper entered my room while I was on the toilet and even though I had a do not disturb sign on the door. The front desk’s response is always” I am sorry.”
Great location, plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. Very clean hotel, and friendly staff. Would recommend to everyone.
Great location, friendly staff, would stay again!
Stayed for one night in August after dropping our kid off at Coastal Carolina U for the fall semester. (About 20 min. away). Quick and friendly front desk during check in. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Lobby bar closed at 10pm on a Friday night, which we thought was a little early.
Broadway on the Beach is across the road (approx. 10 min walk) where there are many food and drink options.
Would stay here again.

Everyone there was very kind and pleasant
Didn't try breakfast because we didn't see a complimentary breakfast. Only a bistro that charged for breakfast. But view and location was good
Didn't like the fact that the bathroom had no ventilation vents that worked. Also after a long drive and a good time hanging out till 1:00 am, we was awaken in panic due to a fire alarm system going off in the hotel around 2:30or 3am. Jumping out of bed scrambling for clothes and had to be evacuated outside for at least 25 to 30 minutes. After returning to the room I couldn't sleep anymore and had to drive 3.5 hours home the next morning. Upon checking out and asking the front desk what happened , they laughed and said it was a water leak. No discount was offered for that inconvenience like most hotels will offer, or no other accommodations was offered .
Our room, lobby, common areas, outside seating and pool were very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for 3 nights and would highly recommend. Perfect location near restaurants and shopping. Very close to Ripken ball fields
I stayed here while attending a conference at Carolina Coastal University, a 15-20 minute drive away. Courtyard Myrtle Beach Broadway was less expensive than the campus Fairfield and well worth the short drive. This is a great location near shopping, restaurants, entertainment (Broadway at the Beach, wax museum), convention center, and a baseball stadium, and the beach.
My room was comfortable and spacious (upgraded to a suite due to my Bonvoy Elite status). The hotel and rooms were tastefully decorated, well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My suite had a mucrowave and mini-refrigerator, separate bedroom and living room with a fold out couch, and two large TVs. (Perfect for family or roommates.) My third floor room overlooked the outdoor pool and seating area. I only went to the pool once due to my busy conference schedule. As expected for summer, the pool was full of noisy, splashing kids with the parents seated close by. Fortunately my room on a higher floor was very quiet! (Though I expect that the 1st floor guests probably heard the pool noise.) Pools hours are 10am-10pm, generous and reasonable.
My biggest surprise was how GOOD the food in the hotel lobby Bistro was! I usually avoid hotel lobby/bar food or full hotel restaurants due to low quality (pre-prepared or pre-packaged) or high cost (full restaurants.) This time, I was exhausted from my roadtrip and opted to eat in the lobby Bistro/bar after I arrived. I ordered “for here” and paid from the bar/counter—a glass of white wine and a flatbread pizza margherita. I was given a numbered flag and almost immediately my wine in a stemless glass and water in a tall glass were brought to my table. The seating area feels a restaurant, with options for 2-top, 4-top, 6-top tables and curved padded seating booths. I opted for a comfy booth. After a short wait my pizza, freshly prepared, was brought to my table. It was very tasty and well-presented. I mentioned it to server, and learned that they have a chef and everything is prepared in-house. A couple of nights later I ordered the tomato bisque soup and three-cheese sourdough bread grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious and the portion was large enough to share. (I ate the whole thing!) On the morning I checked out, I ordered a hearty breakfast before my road trip. It was hot, fresh, and very tasty. I couldn’t finish it, so I took a to-go box and ate the rest for lunch from my car. Did I mention that the menu prices are very reasonable? Each entre was $12-$14. Kudos to Courtyard Myrtle Beach Broadway. You have raised the bar on my experience with hotel lobby food! I would certainly stay here again.
