A quiet hotel with very friendly staff especially in the restaurant and bar.
Pros:

We really enjoyed the large balcony with the water view, the complimentary bikes, helmets, and locks. I appreciated the bathrobe in the room and the makeup mirror in the bathroom. Very comfortable king-sized bed, plenty of space in the room, and an updated bathroom.

Cons:

We were dismayed that there wasn't a coffee machine or even an electric kettle in the room. The free coffee in the breakfast area was appreciated, but the cappuccinos, lattes, and breakfast in general were too pricey. The bed was comfortable, but several in our party wished there was a way to just use a sheet on the bed and not the whole comforter.

Unexpected luxury!
Pros:

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Santa Monica (Delfina), and I have to give a very special shout-out to Tracy, who checked us in. She truly set the tone for our entire visit. We were staying as Guest of Honor, and Tracy took such great care in explaining all of our amenities and making us feel incredibly special. This is exactly what Hyatt service is all about.

We stayed for a few days while visiting Santa Monica, and honestly, I never expected the hotel itself to feel so luxurious. I could have easily spent the entire trip just enjoying the property. From the phenomenal breakfasts each morning to the shaded couches by the pool—which were always available and perfect for relaxing, reading, or even taking a nap between our day trips and evening plans—everything was just perfect.

Our room was beautiful, complete with a lovely balcony that made it even more special. The hotel also offers bikes, which made it so easy (and fun!) to ride down to the Santa Monica Pier or Venice Beach to watch the skate park and street performers. Plus, shopping at the Third Street Promenade is just minutes away. Everything you could want is right there.

This stay truly felt like one of the most luxurious and relaxing vacations I’ve had in a long time. Experiences like this are exactly why I remain so loyal to Hyatt—and always will be.

Great, would stay again.
Pros:

Great helpful staff. Offered us champagne on check in. Easy to walk around Santa Monica from there. Pool area was good, towels provided. Room was comfortable and clean.

Beware of extra fees
Pros:

Very average hotel. Did not expect the pool to be located on the main floor just behind the restaurant. We didn’t use it because it felt too public. Was very surprised by the $40/destination fee (we spent 3 nights). Would not return here.

Pros:

Sergio was so very nice. He answered all my questions and helped with our needs.
Thank You Sergio for being awesome!
The restaurant was expensive and the food was not good. It's made on the 2nd floor and brought downstairs. I ordered pancakes and bacon. The butter for the pancakes was not soft this intern made the pancakes even colder than they already were. All of that a an Ice Tea for $38.00 Hugh rip off.
