Pros:

I booked this hotel for my friend's honeymoon and paid for full ocean view. However, they were assigned to the room with the partial view.

Cons:

Check-in staff was not professional and the hotel offered wedding amenity but never happened.

No Coffee
Pros:

Don't stay at this hotel if you are from the East Coast or are an early morning person. No coffee in room. No coffee in hotel until 6:00 am. No breakfast until 6:30 am. Can't even order breakfast until 6:30 am.

Great stay!
Pros:

Stayed for a few days for a work conference. Loved being able to walk to the beach each morning for a walk before the meetings started. Beautiful view from my room balcony.

Nice Stay at the End of a Long Work Day

Beautiful Location with Non-working Features.
Pros:

I have stayed at the property for decades well before it was a Hyatt. I stay in the jacuzzi suites because I like to use the jacuzzi which has an excellent view from the balcony. On prior stays the jacuzzi was operational, and if not the hotel immediately remedied the situation. This time nothing was done to resolve the issue with the jacuzzi and the hotel reception went so far as to blame me as the guest for overflowing water. Further the WiFi router was set to OPEN rather than SECURED and I could not use it for work or connecting to my financial institutions.

A very accommodating hotel
Pros:

Ten minutes before I arrived at the Hyatt Centric I damaged my knee and could not walk. Hugo, the concierge, came to my rescue with a wheel chair and a bag of ice two times a day! I was given an ADA room which was clean and spacious, and the entire staff was very helpful. If I return to Santa Monica I plan to stay at this hotel!

Excellent hotel and stay
Pros:

The hotel was nice and pretty quiet when we were there, so I think that made a difference. The staff were able to be very attentive to us as they had the time.

Excellent customer service - wonderful stay
Pros:

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. Tracy who works at the front desk and the staff were so incredibly accommodating and helpful. I had purchased a non-refundable reservation in mid-January for a funeral, but the funeral date was changed at the last minute (which is certainly out of the ordinary). I knew I needed to reach out to Hyatt to discuss the possibility of pushing my reservation back one week, and the Hyatt customer service were very kind and got in touch with the Hyatt Centric Delfina hotel directly, who were kind enough to make the adjustment without any change in my cost. But when I arrived to the hotel, it appeared my updated reservation was not in the system. Without panicking or dismissing me, Tracy and the front desk staff promptly got in contact with their manager, and Tracy was able to find the notes in my reservation stipulating the exception that was made. She swiftly handled everything in the reservation system to finalize all the adjustments and put us at ease. We were so grateful that the Delfina honored my original reservation costs, and the room was perfectly comfortable and clean. Wonderful stay in spite of the circumstances. The location is an easy walk to the beach which we were able to enjoy. Thank you to all the staff especially Tracy (with her AMAZING HAIR AND SMILE!!) for making our weekend so comfortable and such a pleasure.

Hyatt Santa Monica stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel very close to Santa Monica pier and beach and shops everything in walking distance . Rooms lovely and big staff really friendly . Spent a few nights eating and drinking . Flower and Eden were very helpful and helped us sort out a few things . Lovely place
