Luxurious boutique hotel
Pros:

Amazing hotel! I highly recommend it. Alex and his team were helpful before and during my stay. This hotel is luxurious and has a boutique, high-end lobby; the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable also. When I went out to meet my friends on the last day, the staff arranged to put my luggage in my car for me. Valet is very convenient. Surprisingly great value for Santa Barbara! I'm looking forward to my next stay.

A wonderful place to stay!

We have often enjoyed staying at the Hotel Santa Barbara. Since the renovations have been completed it is even better than ever. It is our favorit3e hotel in Santa Barbara.

An ideal experience
Pros:

Our goldendoodle was front & center attention - all of the staff were dog people!!
The room was outstanding, the 1926 bar was beautiful (I recommend the Aperol spritz). No detail was spared in the renovation - a true recreation of a 1920's Santa Barbara hotel experience.

Very pleasant stay with our pup
Pros:

Exceptional staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely renovated and comfortable. They have filtered water stations - and reusable water bottles - conveniently located on each floor. They were welcoming to our pup. very dog friendly. We enjoyed a pleasant cocktail in the lobby lounge. Location is fantastic within walking distance to the water and next to the more upscale shops on State St.

I was on a solo road trip and the hotel was a lovely splurge.
Pros:

The hotel and the room were beautiful, and in the perfect location for shopping and eating downtown Santa Barbara.

I would definitely stay again!
Pros:

The location is absolutely fantastic! The staff was lovely, professional, and kind. The entire facility has been updated. It is gorgeous and very comfortable.

Cons:

Every Thursday night at the bar next-door, there are hundreds of college kids that party way way way too loud we didn’t know about it and it was very inconvenient for SLEEP

Clean and adorable!
Pros:

We only stayed for 1 night to help break up our long drive. It was lovely. Staff was great, room was really comfortable. Was right across the street from dusk, a cool little tequila bar. Right in the middle of downtown. Room is really cute and clean. You can tell it was recently renovated. Also love the sweet touch of providing a reusable water bottle and water stations throughout the hotel.

Cons:

Wasn’t there long enough to truly explore but it was perfect for what we needed

The Santa Barbara hotel is in a great location! It’s in the center of everything. It’s also close enough to the highway
Pros:

The property was in an excellent location. Walking distance from Sterns Ward and to many restaurants, stores and fun entertainment.

Cons:

The room was extremely small as well as the bed. We had to ask for our garbage to be taken out and to refresh our towels. The parking was a bit over priced

Pros:

Not only was it beautiful and located right downtown with convenience to restaurants to shops, but it was also exceptionally clean. Very new. Definitely going back.

A lovely stay!
Pros:

Lovely stay and friendly staff. The hotel is beautiful and very well kept and maintained. The rooms are comfortable and well curated with nice amenities. Definitely appreciated the filtered water dispenser in the hallway.

A wonderful weekend getaway
Pros:

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara! It’s wonderful. It was a perfect location. There were wineries, bars restaurants and shops. Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful decor. My husband and I are already planning our next trip back with friends.
