Stunning hotel in prime location
Pros:

Newly refurbished with lovely design touches and a comprehensive theme throughout. Location is exceptional in the heart of restaurants, bars and shops.

Cons:

I was on the top floor (only 4) only one lift and it was original so a touch slow. Not a major concern.

Great hotel in central Santa Barbara
Pros:

Hotel Santa Barbara is a lovely hotel in the central area of Santa Barbara. The rooms are well appointed and the staff is fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and highly recommend it.

Best hotel in Santa Barbara
Pros:

They staff was fantastic ! They made my weekend very special. I proposed this weekend ro my fiance and they made my stay there very special. I am coming back this summer again, and to be honest I dont wont to stay anywhere else in Santa Barbara.

Cons:

They just finished they renovations a few months ago and the place looks amazing. The entire staff was friendly and rhe room was clean and beautiful.

Thank you to everyone that works there. They made me feel like family.

Pros:

Beautifully renovated hotel, friendly staff but some glitches with facilities like room cleaning.
Pros:

Arrival was smooth and easy. Valet service looked after our car (including taking it to the EV charger to charge). Front desk staff were welcoming and very helpful with recommendations for places to eat. The hotel is nicely renovated retaining its historic feel while the facilities are all contemporary and up to date.

Cons:

1: No room cleaning unless you ask for it. It is OK that the hotel prefers not to have room cleaning every day, only when guests request it. But we were never told that this was the case. There was a card on the bed with a QR code to use to tip the cleaning staff and the name of the person responsible for our room. Nothing on the card or in the room pointed out that the service was only available on request. Front desk staff did not mention it when we checked in. So we were VERY surprised when we came back to our room at the end of the day and it had not been cleaned / tidied or anything. Please be sure to tell your guests if a service is only available on request!!! 2:Air conditioning / heating was weird. The room was quite cold when we arrived. We turned up the heating to the max allowed (75.5º) but barely noticed any difference. By the morning when we woke up, though, the room, was very warm. Even when it was warm in the room, the bathroom was cold. 3: It would have been nice to have an armchair or somewhere to sit other than the chair at the desk. There is a TV which faces one end of the room where there is nowhere to sit. Two people to a room but only an office chair to sit in. Hmmm ...

We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Pros:

Walkable location to restaurants & shopping. We felt safe even walking in the evening.

Due to three age of the hotel, 100 yrs, the room was cozy but still comfortable.
