I had the pleasure of staying at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia and must say it was a proper Rosewood property. The staff were 10/10 - one of the best front desks I’ve experienced. Always willing to help and on a first name basis. Rooms were elegant and sophisticated, dining was fantastic and quite reasonable. The spa was competent. The location is the best in the city (categorizing it as a city hotel rather than a waterfront hotel). My highest praise goes to Leanne Mok who went out of her way to look after us. Above and beyond. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many great people in hospitality but she’s the type that will run a portfolio one day. She’s built for hospitality and carried out her work with class and grace. Personal service as such will keep me loyal to this property when I’m in Vancouver. Thanks to all of the staff. Highly recommend.
Rosewood Georgia is a stunning hotel in the heart of Downtown. Decor, ambience, amenities all that of a superior 5* hotel. Loved it and would return
felt like a real luxury hotel and not a chain

Beautiful property with great finishings and art on the walls. Nice entertainment in the bar in the evenings
Such a majestic and timeless hotel. Friendly staff! Impeccable design! Every luxury provided. Spacious and immaculate rooms. The breakfast at Reflections was in a HAPPY setting…Dinner in the 1926 lounge was perfection! We can not say enough positive about this place. We had a magnificent stay and just wish it could be another week!
Unfortunately, my recent stay at Rosewood Hotel Georgia was inconsistent with the standards traditionally associated with the Rosewood brand. While the hotel itself remains architecturally beautiful and well located, the operational execution throughout our stay repeatedly fell short of expectations.
The most significant example occurred during breakfast. Our party of four waited more than 30 minutes simply to be seated. Once seated, we waited an additional 20 minutes before anyone properly took our order, followed by more than 45 minutes before our meals arrived.
In total, we spent well over one hour before breakfast was finally served. The delay was so extensive that our table watched the entire FIFA World Cup match between Argentina and Venezuela—from the pre-match coverage through the final whistle—while waiting for breakfast.
When the food finally arrived, portions of the order were incorrect, requiring further correction after an already excessive delay.
A luxury hotel can occasionally experience a busy morning. However, what separates a five-star operation from an ordinary hotel is not the absence of challenges, but the ability of management and staff to recognize service failures, communicate proactively, recover gracefully, and ensure guests never feel forgotten.
This Was Not an Isolated Incident Unfortunately, this experience reflected a pattern that continued throughout the stay.
From reception to the dining table, it's an unforgettable experience. Employees. They are so approachable, amazing people, amazing food, amazing service, and an amazing place to experience, and the place's ambiance is relaxing. Overall thank you very much.
Beautiful place to stay. The location is good, but the hotel itself is what is most amazing. The staff was especially terrific. We used the concierge service for recommendations and directions a few times and they were always a huge help! We only dined there once but the food was delicious. Our room was very nice. We had a sitting area which gave us some room to spread out a little since we stayed for 4 nights.
It was beautiful and great location.
The smart lights woke us up in the night. Couldn’t figure out how to change the system.
Great place to relax in the heart of downtown. Fantastic upgrade to this hotel, having stayed there over 20 years ago.
The bar and rooms scream luxury. Staff are very attentive and we were given a small room upgrade upon check in.
Room amenities include generous Diptyque products and great interior design.
Drawbacks are that the rooms are noisy due to its location. Also the main bar in reception is lovely but small. Great gym and poolside experience.
The hotel initially charged us a high room fee on their website. We looked into rates a few months before our original booking. Saw that the rooms were literally half price so cancelled and re-booked at the cheaper rate.
We were upgraded to a suite. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable with 1.5 baths, a dining-living room space, and a bedroom. A wonderful breakfast is included, and their attached restaurant is first-rate. We asked the concierge for restaurant suggestions, and we were not disappointed with all the places we tried. It was a wonderful relaxing experience.
The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious and luxurious. We very much enjoyed our stay.
We did have plumbing noise in the bathroom, however, Jackie has taken care of that problem.
We were a little disappointed to look our of the windows on to the wall below the fountains.
Perhaps a space/rack for suitcases would be a good idea.
