I liked this hotel in the past but the change of policy for the access to Spa
Cons:

I have been at this hotel several times, and besides the good location, I liked the comfort of the rooms, the cozy atmosphere of the bar / restaurant, and especially the Spa area included in the price.
This has unfortunately changed since January 2026, so the access to the Spa/swimming pool is now at an extra fee of 20 eur per person.
The spa was the main thing which made this hotel winning the competition of other star-rated hotels in the area. Not anymore
This was disappointing, but what was even more disappointing is that I forgot something in the the room , and despite I called couple of hours after check out, the hotel staff said that nothing was found. This is very bad for a star rated hotel.
I don’t think I’ll stay there again for these reasons.

Super freundliches ,zuvorkommendes Personal und alles sauber. Tolle Lage

Cons:

Das im Sauna Bereich ( an dem Tag als wir dort waren) eine Gruppe junger Männer im Pool Bereich rumlagen und mit ihren Handys Filmten auch eine Gruppe junger Frauen ( ukrainische Sprache) lief laut durch den Sauna Bereich und Filmten . OK zwar eine Sauna wo Klamotten an bleiben aber sollte trotzdem nicht sein . Das Sauna Erlebnis hätten wir uns deshalb sparen können.

Aardig personeel, Heerlijke bedden, uitstekend ontbijt met een attente kok die een heerlijk eitje voor je bakt, en ruime parkeergelegenheid met oplaad mogelijkheid

Auf dem Weg zum Erwachsenen-Hotel

Das Spa mit Pool, Dampfbad und verschiedenen weiteren Saunen.

Gutes Essen, leckere Snacks und Getränke.

Cons:

Wir waren als Familie mit Kind (11 Jahre) immer wieder, über Jahre, zu Gast in diesem Haus. Speziell gefiel uns die textile/bekleidete Spa Nutzung für uns alle. Beim letzten Aufenthalt wurden wir darüber informiert, dass unsere Tochter bis zum 16. Lebensjahr das Spa nicht (mehr) nutzen darf, auch nicht in Begleitung. Sie darf nur noch den (wesentlich kühleren) Pool zum Schwimmen nutzen. Daher kommt das Hotel nicht mehr für uns in Frage.

Nice hotel, but too many additional charges
Pros:

the real highlight was the absolutely amazing staff - from helping us with our reservation, to the attention and care we received during our stay... the staff were phonomenal. The breakfast was also very good and the coffee was great. The hotel is conveniently located next to public transport, and the rooms are overall comfortable.

Cons:

The reason for my lower score is the many many additional and quite high fees or inconsistencies in offering - this is already a higher-end hotel. The fact that there is only a generic hand/body/hair soap available is quite shocking at this price point. At the very least some body lotion or other amenities add to the type of caliber that this hotel should be at. Other reasons include the paid parking being quite expensive, the fee for the dog as well ... not to mention the fee for the spa and the pool which is inconsistently marked across sites.

Regarding the parking and dog fees, we regularly travel by car and with the dog and have never come across a hotel with such high fees for these two things, despite staying in quite nice places.

Regarding the sauna/pool fee - this was quite the shock and is not consistently marked across sites (booking.com, where at the very bottom it says there is a charge for sauna but NOT massages or other services? very weird and confusing; the hotels own website, which says the sauna and pool are free and the only charge is for the "spa package"'; or even the check-in link shared via email and whatsapp which doesn't metnion there is a fee involved). Once again, literally never in our time traveling and staying in nice places with spa have we come across having to pay for the sauna and pool offered at the hotel as guests - this is the first time we have come across this, and this is the main reason for our serious downgrade in review.

Was mooi hotel en eten was fijn

Cons:

De spa en zwembad.. vind de prijs te hoog.. zeker als je al gast bent. Ook moet dit meer duidelijk zijn op verschillende websites.
Maar ook zonder deze faciliteiten hadden wij een leuke weekend

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, der dafür aber mit Zusatzkosten verbunden ist.
Pros:

Eine schöne und moderne Unterkunft, die viel Komfort bietet.
Die Zimmer sind modern, es gibt in der Lobby kleine kostenlose Extras.

Das Restaurant im Hotel ist sehr lecker, und die Preise sind normal.
Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Cons:

Trotzdem ist mit hohen Zusatzkosten zu rechnen.
29€ Parken pro Tag, 25€ Stadtgebühr pro Aufenthalt, 19€ pro Person kostet der Spa Bereich (Pool&Sauna) pro Tag.
Der Spa Bereich wird mit dem Fitnessbereich geteilt und es gibt Sammelkabinen. Deshalb ist es recht Eng und man hat nicht viel Privatsphäre.
