Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at Hamilton Hotel Washington DC overall. The location is excellent — convenient for exploring the city and close to many attractions. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. The elevators worked well, and the hotel atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable. We also enjoyed breakfast at Via Sophia restaurant — delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and great service.

Cons:

We booked two rooms. In one room everything was very good, except we noticed there was no ventilation in the bathroom. In the second room, we had booked a park view, but unfortunately the balcony/view was covered with black fabric, so there was really no view at all, which made it feel a bit disappointing and gloomy.

Cons:

The check-in line was long and moved slowly, the staff could have been warmer, but mostly my main complaint was that the room was on the dingy side: furniture scuffed, tile and wallpaper in the bathroom seen better days, hair in the sink.
