Staff
Overbooked

Very comfortable rooms
No complaints
Staff very friendly. Shuttle to airport extremely helpful.
The staff failed to put the parents of the feral kids in check . It was VERY loud
Far from a relaxing visit
Would not recommend. Our stay was for 1 night before a flight out of DTW. We were given a room on the sixth floor-615, that had an absolutely disgusting mattress. It was full of stains, both urine and spills. It smelled terrible and was lumpy as can be. It was unacceptable, unhygienic, and completely past its life. We took a photo to front desk, told them we needed to move rooms, man spoke no words just accessed computer and gave us new room, and a free appetizer card. I was stunned that he didn’t even apologize or acknowledge the issue, which makes me think this happens frequently. New room had a bed bug cover, could see stain through top left corner, mattress was definitely newer than previous room. Decided this was the best we were going to get at this point of the evening. Bathroom was mediocre and semi-clean. I definitely do not like seeing other’s hair in bathrooms, but yes, there was visible hair around the bathroom. Rooms are dark for a reason-so you don’t see spills, dirt, and stains. We paid $245USD for room and parking-completely overpriced! We will not be returning and not ever recommend to anyone. Cleanliness is the number one thing that makes guests feel comfortable….Sheraton definitely needs to work on this!
This property is just tired. The room was up to date but fixtures in bathroom loose and not properly maintained. Hallways are smoky and we had to move to another room as the first room had obviously been occupied by a cigar smoker!
Very impressed with the quality of hotel especially for the cost. Very fancy. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Delicious dinner.
Not much.
Very clean, beautiful view , openness in lobby, and it was quiet
My room didn't have a microwave
The place offers a very comfortable stay nearby the airport, it helped us have a comfortable recovery after a long journey to the US
The place operates a free shuttle service from the airport, but it was difficult to organise that in advance, so we had to catch an Uber
We had a great stay at the Sheraton DTW. It was exactly what we needed before our flight—clean, cozy, comfortable, and very convenient. The hotel was well maintained, and the staff was welcoming throughout our stay. We also ate at the restaurant, where the service was friendly, and the meatloaf was amazing! We'd definitely stay here again when traveling through Detroit.
The hotel lobby, bar area and shuttle service were excellent. The hotel's guest services did a great job at check in and check out. Location, near a Big Boy (adequate), Tropical Smoothie and McDonalds, was handy and all in walking distance, which was helpful for a quick pre-airport stay. I was really impressed with the free shuttle service which starts at 4 am. The room was clean and functional and fit the bill. However, the bed itself, pillows and headboards and floor carpeting could use a refresh. The room, especially bathroom was very clean, but the decor was tired and the window seals broken and full of moisture, which could lead to mold. Not pleasant for the musty smell. Overall, I would definitely stay again when I have an early flight out of DTW.
Everything was "functional and serviceable," and clean. The room decor, however, was a bit tired. Bed lumpy and box springs gave me the icks. I checked for bedbugs because the headboard and beds, pillows, looked old and worn. It was clean and bug free. The window seal was broken and the entire window full of moisture which was also kind of an ick.
