Sehr schönes älteres Hotel mit Charme das gut im Schuss ist. Zimmer sind gerade gross genug und sehr sauber. Das Bett sehr bequem. Frühstück mega frisch.

L’emplacement, la déco

Cons:

L’aimabilite du personnel au petit déjeuner, le manque de propreté dans la chambre, entretien limite.

Il manquait une ampoule dans la salle de bain, des poils sur la moquette…

La Clim défectueuse, il a fait 28 degrés dans notre chambre…

En prime nous avons été réveillé en pleine nuit par l’alarme incendie. Pas d’explications au petit matin…

Œuf brouillé froid, saucisse froide au petit déjeuner, machine à café en panne… c’est dommage mais pas une bonne expérience pour un tarif aussi élevé.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel des Brotteaux in Lyon! From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant. The hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort — you can really feel the character of the building, while still enjoying all the thoughtful amenities.

My room was beautifully designed, cozy, and spotlessly clean, with a super comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. The attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out.

The staff were absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience special.

The location is also ideal, making it easy to explore Lyon while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Even though my stay was just one night, it left a lasting impression. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lyon!
