L'accueil du personnel et le caractère de l'hôtel, un très beau bâtiment!
Les installations sont un peu vieillottes, pas trop bien entretenues (ex. poignée cassée) et cela donne une impression de vétusté

Fab staff, location and room.
L'emplacement est super, vraiment aux Brotteaux ! Chambre haute de plafond agréable, équipée mini bar et machine à café.
Je trouve toujours ces hotels de centre ville un peu cher car il n'y a pas de spa ou salle de sport. La chasse d'eau ne fonctionnait pas bien, et ça c'est regrettable au prix de la chambre.

The staff and management were top class.
The hotel was a classical French building with elegant features and it was over the road from one of Lyon’s classiest restaurants.
The air conditioning in our room was not quite up to dealing with the heatwave.
La localisation
A classic hotel. Full of charm in a charming location near the train station. Easy walk to many great restaurants. Near Tete d Oro park - a great park. Hotel staff are great humans. Accustomed to the business travelers' needs.
And the Madeleine at breakfast - beautiful!
Elevator was down for repair. But they let you access the service elevator. Staff at front make a nice approach spritz.
L'hôtel est bien situé
Les chambres ne sont pas climatisées. À notre arrivée, la personne à l'accueil nous a pourtant assuré qu'elles l'étaient. Par la suite, un autre membre du personnel nous a expliqué que plusieurs clients se plaignaient, car la climatisation était en panne.
Nous avons donc passé une nuit avec près de 30°C dans la chambre, sans eau à disposition et sans réfrigérateur. Nous avons dû demander de l'eau à deux reprises avant d'être servis, ce qui est assez regrettable compte tenu des fortes chaleurs.
Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Pour un tarif similaire, voire inférieur, il est tout à fait possible de trouver un établissement offrant de meilleures prestations et un meilleur confort.
