What a find this hotel was .
Pros:

Excellent location , short walk from all attractions and the river . Room was clean with fresh white bedding , lots of hot water in the bathroom , toiletries provided , excellent breakfast with fully cooked and continental , lots of fruit and cake , staff very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend.

Good value for money and a great location
Pros:

Great location for exploring Porto and good value for money. Rooms were clean and furniture was modern and comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast.

Cons:

Wifi doesn’t work, staff at reception would not give us more milk after we used the 2 sachets that were in the room, which was unusual.

In general it was ok for 3 nights.
Pros:

I like the hotel's location. It is very centrally located and close to shops and the metro.

Cons:

Cleanliness was my biggest issue. A very small room. Not a city review. There were some issues, such as robe, slippers..

Warm and quiet, breakfast is wonderful 🥰
Pros:

Everything is great, warm and clean! Breakfast is wonderful! Also we could hear the students’ serenades on the Praça de Batalha next to the church (from the balcony). That’s amazing.

A Perfect Base To Explore Porto
Pros:

I loved staying in this hotel. The room was modernised well but still comfortable - a standard size for a single room, but the space was well designed and pleasant. Practical bathroom, good aircon/heating and everything was kept very clean. The view from my window was a superb vista over the rooftops of the city centre, all the way to Clerigos Tower. The staff were especially friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast was good but I only had it on my first morning and explored other options on the following days - and there are plenty of options, as the hotel is right on Batalha Square and is walking distance from most central features of the city and close to Sao Bento Rail Station/Metro Lines. Walking further afield is easy - Bolhao market, shopping streets, craft ale bars and great restaurants are all nearby, but getting around from this hotel is straightforward and (in my experience) very safe. I don't normally write many reviews but when a place is this good I think the excellent service deserves to be recognised.
