Ok but don't think we will be booking the Cambridge hotel again.
Pros:

Location was great for what we needed. Staff polite, especially nights shift staff at our check in.
Breakfast ok ish but not a Hilton style

Cons:

Room - it stated 2 large double beds. Definitely not large beds, 2 adults would have been squashed in it.
Long dark hair in our bathtub..., guessing cleaning ladies? Breakfast was ok ish but not a Hilton style. Toilets by the reception desk were disgusting, 3 out of 4 cubicles were blocked, dirty. Mentioned it to the Reception staff, an hour later... still the same. My son said that the same was with the Gents.
Please train your Concierge staff that when they are dropping off the car they have to put it into the 'parking mode' and not leave it on the road in a 'drive mode'.

Nice central hotel but let down by security deposit problems
Pros:

Location was very good. Very easy access to central Cambridge. Good to have parking but quite expensive at £35 per night.
Staff were very nice. Sally the Reception Supervisor was very helpful with my issues over the security deposit refund and was very friendly to talk to.

Cons:

Not happy that it took 5 days to return the security deposit. Hotel took £50 as a deposit when we checked in which was fine but discovered that it had increased to £70 when we checked out and we hadn't been informed that this would happen. The security deposit we gave to Enterprise for car hire was refunded within 24 hours so I don't see why Hilton Hotels systems means that it takes 5 days to refund theirs.

Would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to friends or colleagues.

Food was cooked very well,Nice variety, location was close to all we needed

Cons:

Room was dirty upon check in. We found a dirty fork in the room. The shower curtain was loose, there was no rubber mat in the tub and showering was dangerous as I slipped several times and almost hurt myself bad when getting out due to slipping. We had a break switch blow damaging a phone charger.

Pros:

The location of the hotel ideal for tours. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were all welcoming and courteous. There was a wide range of food to choose from for breakfast.

Cons:

My younger sister and cousin (both teenage girls) where yelled at and cornered by a male guest in the elevator when we told members of staff one brushed us off in favour of the other guest and the other I’m told rolled their eyes at me after I turned away from them

Toplage in Tophotel
Pros:

Toplage im Herzen von Cambridge, alles fußläufig zu erreichen, nette Pubs in der Umgebung. Frühstück sehr gut und empfehlenswert, ein gut geführtes Hilton!
