We would certainly recommend the Hilton Hotel in Cambridge.
Pros:

The Hilton Hotel offers the perfect location for a visitor to explore Cambridge city and its colleges, the river and, in our case, an event at The Corn Exchange.

The room and its facilities were excellent as was the breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing; we were fortunate to be offered a car parking space at the hotel via its valet service. Limited numbers for this mean that a space cannot be guaranteed but, if available, this is as close to the city centre as you need to be.

Pros:

It provides the best breakfast in town. The staff were helpful

Cons:

It has a limited number of rooms with a walk in shower . Furthermore, no house slippers and dressing gowns are provided. This meant we were walking around on carpets in bare feet and.only wrapped in the towel after we left the bathroom.

Pros:

As the Hotel was so central and our room was quiet and comfortable we decided to stay another night. Excellent breakfast as well.

Cons:

Other than small things like the key card not working the second night and no shower cap. We have no grumbles..

excellent stay
Pros:

Hilton, Cambridge is in an excellent location within walking distance of all main areas. The parking is good, staff are excellent, facilities are good. They welcome dogs and we had facilities within our room and they also allowed her in the piano bar. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.
