A decent stay made better by friendly staff.
Pros:

Friendly staff who actually seem to care about you! Excellently made-up room during a two day stay.

Cons:

Decor beyond the lobby is tired, room dated and bathroom looking a bit elderly. Shower slightly dodgy and bathroom extractor fan noisy. Window in room had a notice 'out of order' on hottest day of the year (but aircon worked)

Was adequate. Staff were lovely but overworked and overly hot due to weather conditions.
Pros:

It was close to the ICC where I had an event

Cons:

No aircon in passages, couldn't bath as drain so blocked plug would not close. Also black stuff came out the bath taps.

Pros:

The reception food/bar facilities

Cons:

Room was very outdated, very noisy with main corridor door beside room which didn't open or close properly meaning it was very loud banging evertime it was open and closed and shook the room door everytime it closed

Felt I was in a travelodge - lacking quality and detail - very old fashioned

80s chic
Pros:

80s style Hotel with furniture to match but quite liked the feel to it. Nice bathroom with proper bath. Liked all the artwork in hallway and very nice communal areas. Great to have air conditioning as well. Rooms Nice and clean.

Cons:

Reception staff not that welcoming . Tv only showing 1 channel and staff disagreed with me when told. Also shower luke warm. Both these problems remedied while we were out. Porter / Barman friendly and helpful.

Worst stay of my life

Cons:

How they tried to sneakily sell my room when they thought I was not coming then when I come they had sold it and send nothing left for me then I kicked off and had to share a bed with a coworker.

Cons:

Hi. I was allocated room 107. The bathroom had strong rotten rat smell and the corridor had same smell. I complained to reception, but nothing happened. Next day morning I complained again and the reception said they will send maintenance to fix it. In the evening when we came back it was same strong rotten rat smell. I talked to the duty manager. He came to my flat and said this is the same sewer smell they are getting in corridor also. He agreed that this is very strong sewer smell. He loved us to room 223. We shifted all luggage. It was top floor, flat roof room as AC was broken down. Manager gave a tall heater cum fan but the flow didn’t even reach the bed. It was very hot and none of us could sleep. In the morning I raised to the general manager Sue and she said they will fix the AC and said she will refund 1st night’s rent. In the evening they said the can’t fix the ac immediately and I can use previous room 107. We again moved back to 107 from 223, bathroom didn’t have smell. But in the morning we again got strong rotten rat smell from bathroom. 2 nights we had to stay in a room which was exposed to sewer.
