Pros:

Great stay. Thanks to Tarra who was very helpful during breakfast. The hotel, being close to the train station, makes the stay enjoyable.

Justifiable value for the money
Pros:

The room was clean and very cosy and comfortable. The location is also close to ICC Wales where we attended an event which is really helpful for us.

Cons:

Only thing is when we booked the room it says has a soundproof feature but we can hear guests or staff coming in and out of other room and or banging the door or people talking next door. Otherwise the stay is very pleasant and the hotel itself is so clean.

It was a great weekend

Pros:

The location was handy as we were working at the ICC so we could walk over. Our room had been updated so it was lovely, our friends a few doors down though had a rusty bath and an outdated room with u comfortable sofa bed.

Cons:

There was nowhere to get food or drink on site on Saturday night as there was a wedding on.

Breakfast is way too high, £16.95, other hotels normally charge £10.95, there is nothing about the breakfast that is different to others

Pros:

The staff were great, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The gym was fantastic and it was very cool to have the opportunity to use the pool

Cons:

I was incredibly disappointed by the WiFi in my room not working for the entire duration of my stay. Irritatingly, it worked in the corridor further down, just not in my room. I informed the staff who told me one of the WiFi boosters was down and that maintenance were coming to fix it tomorrow - however, it was not fixed. This frustrated me as I couldn’t do any work in my room and I was there for a work conference. I asked if I could move rooms but the hotel was fully booked. I’d like a refund on the cost spent as WiFi is listed as one of the amenities of the hotel.

Holiday in Wales
Pros:

Comfortable room near bar and restaurant with no steps which was ideal for disabled companion. The breakfast was delicious and evening meals very good. Ideal location for Roman Remains at Caerleon and Caerwent and Norman Castles at Chepstow with many more in driving distance. Tintern Abbey and the Wye Valley are nearby. An ideal centre for exploring the area.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Very clean, comfy beds. Very friendly and helpful staff, superb food, exceptional choice for breakfast.
