Shame about the smell

Pros:

Very clean rooms with a lot of amenities and nice additional facilities such as a mini gym. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location by the canal. Breakfast is varied and satisfying. Thanks!

Morgan was the star of the show!
Pros:

My first time staying here. I'm writing this review from my room, so I cannot comment yet on sleep quality or breakfast but I wanted to recognise the friendly, polite and efficient service from the bar team, especially Morgan. Morgan is a credit to the hotel and I hope that my feedback is passed onto her and that she's recognised. From start to finish she was great. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and service was always with manners and a smile!

As for the hotel:
Parking is plentiful. Check in was easy and friendly. Don't forget to pay for your parking at the machine in reception by entering your details.

I was on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and spacious. Plenty of sockets and aircon that worked! My only 'negative' was there was no safe in my room and no fridge. Not the end of the world but something I usually see in my many Holiday Inn stays.

The food in the bar/restaurant was very nice and there was a decent choice.

I would stay here again.

Pros:

This was a last minute booking, during a very busy weekend in Nottingham, and after my previous booking cancelled on the day of my booking. All was good and exactly as expected of a Holiday Inn

Cons:

Location - a little out of the centre, but Uber took care of that aspect
