This hotel is fantastic and is in a brilliant location for the International Centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is a lovely bar area. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff - they can't do enough for you. We had an issue with a booking through Trivago and Zen hotels which the Holiday Inn had not received. They went out of their way (including a member of staff from the International Hotel) to help us by following up the query with Zen Hotels directly and it was all completely sorted out. The staff were so helpful and just incredibly nice. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.
The hotel itself is very good, clean and well equipped. Very convenient for those attending events at the Telford International Centre.
Unfortunately our experience of the restaurant was very poor!
I am gluten free so when I saw the menu with many items marked as GF meaning a completely gluten item according to their key or many items marked as GFA meaning adaptable for Gluten Free I was excited.
On specials menu was duck breast served with dulphinoise potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and clementine jus. It was marked as GF which means by their own menu completely gluten free. When it arrived there was no clementine Jus as contained gluten. Sure this should have been marked as GFA if components were removed?
I tried to eat the dish but duck was so dry without an accompanying sauce.
Still hungry I opted for desert but only item marked as GF was ice cream or sorbet, which is disappointing and unimaginative on the chefs part.
The waiter then proceeded to inform me I could actually have sticky toffee pudding as it was gluten free despite NOT having a GF or GFA next to it on the menu.
The pudding soon arrived, I took one spoonful and it was cold. I decided to leave it.
A new waitress closed our bill and was deeply apologetic she removed the pudding from bill and gave my daughter a complimentary hot chocolate.
To the restaurant manager your GF / GFA items must be accurate otherwise it can be extremely dangerous. I will stay at hotel again but will be eating elsewhere and advise others to do the same! I still had to pay £95 which I think a bit over priced for poorly described basic food.
I booked a room for one night, and the photos on the booking site clearly showed a double bed. However, when I checked in, I was given a room with two semi‑double beds, which I did not book. When I asked to change the room because I specifically chose a double‑bed room, I was told that all rooms are like that. This was not true, as my colleague received a proper double‑bed room. I asked why the pictures show a single double bed if all rooms supposedly have two beds, but I was too tired to argue and had no choice but to stay.
On top of that, when checking out I provided my email address to receive the receipt. A week passed and I received nothing. When I called reception, the staff member named Stas was unhelpful and told me to email him with full details instead of simply sending the receipt based on my booking reference and email on file. I needed the receipt urgently, and the experience was extremely frustrating. After hanging up, I called again, and a lady named Ann quickly took my booking reference and sent the receipt immediately without any issues.
Overall, this experience was very disappointing. The room I received was not what I booked, I was given incorrect information, and the customer service was poor except for Ann. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
Newly renovated, comfortable rooms and bathroom. Rooms are spacious and has good breakfast. Free parking onsite and a few minutes walk from Telford International Centre.
Likely best hotel in Telford, rest did not look nice. Would stay again if needed to come back here.
The hotel is just off a roundabout and can be easily missed. There is plenty of parking with no restrictions (Parking Eye) The staff are warm and welcoming and the resturant servers the best food, the only down side is there should be more on the menu.
We have just returned from a 2 night stay and we had a lovely time.
The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from Telford town park and from all the shops.
Check in - check in was quick and the lady behind the desk was super helpful and polite and she explained everything we needed to know. Nothing was too much trouble. They also provide you with extra milk, tea bags etc for your room, should you need them.
Rooms - Our rooms were lovely and have been upgraded since our last stay. We had interconnecting rooms on the first floor at the back of the hotel. It was lovely and quiet apart from the odd person who doesn’t know how to shut a door quietly but, this happens at all hotels.
The whole room was lovely and clean, staff do a great job.
Pool - The swimming pool was lovely and warm and the fact you have to book makes it less busy, which is good. The changing rooms are also lovely and clean. Staff on the desk were lovely and friendly too.
Breakfast. We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and the food and service in the restaurant was amazing. It’s all buffet style and everything was warm & fresh.
All in all we had a lovely stay and will return again in the future.
The hotel is great and we have been going for many years. The day of check out they were incredibly rude to myself and my daughter. I was very shocked at their customer service and found it very unacceptable.
Family meal absolutely beautiful meal best I've ever had spaghetti Bolognese and most of all a cherry ice cream was amazing just like the staff
Beds veryvhard

Very short walk into town, supermarket and pubs close by. On site restaurant was lovely, perfect service. Pool was clean and well maintained, as was the hot tub & sauna. Room was spacious and clean and all staff were really helpful and lovely. Big tv in the bar area showed live football matches without too much noise. Lovely stay, will definitely be staying again. Thank you
Well located hotel close to the main highways, plenty of parking. Comfortable, clean rooms with proper air conditioning. Excellent bar and restaurant with great service. Pricing very reasonable.
Brilliant hotel, lovely clean facilities, excellent pool and gym. Staff incredibly helpful, I lost my earrings in the room and they rescued them for me! Highly recommend
A last minute booking at a very reasonable price. Quiet room , lovely swimming pool . Would stay again
Great staff but… Expedia stung me. They wanted to charge me about £20 for two breakfasts. Only option. There’s only one of me so I declined. Get here and.. it’s £16 FOR ONE BREAKFAST.
Absolute robbery, especially when I’ll only have a croissant and a coffee.
Won’t be staying at Holiday Inns any more.
Really lovely place to stay room spotless food delicious the only complaint was tables in the dining room were very sticky did report it and was told that they had had numerous complaints so why wasn’t anything done about it ?
Excellent hotel nice staff and facilities we would stay there again. Some improvement work going on during the day but not a problem.
This hotel is great - really clean which is so nice as a lot of places these days are grubby. Nice breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet, excellent parking, electric charging on site. Leisure club is in mint condition possibly a little dated but excellently maintained. The management are doing an excellent job with this place.
Booked through booking.com and got a lovely curtesy call about booking the leisure facilities.😊Arrived at hotel and greeted by friends and very efficient reception staff,. Hotel is beautiful, really clean and modern. Breakfast team in the restaurant, could not do enough and Martin gave that little bit extra. A really lovely stay, very pleasantly surprised how modern Holiday Inns have become.
Great hotel, spotlessly clean -
