Nothing! The only good thing about this hotel was me leaving it. Atrocious.
The lady who greeted me had as much warmth and kindness as a chocolate tea pot. She didnt even greet with a good evening or a hello, just what is your name, not even a please.
The bed was so uncomfortable a week later i am still struggling and have got to see a chiropractor to try and sort it out. The worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel and I travel alot for work.
As for the breakfast, the ladies who greeted were very friendly, however, they were more interested in chatting between themselves to even offer anybody a refill. It seemed you were only allowed one cup of coffee or tea, to the stage i watched people go up and help themselves and the women / staff just looked at them and continued chatting amongst themselves.
The location is not greatly signposted. You quite literally have to drive to the racecourse and then go through the gates. It does not state anything like that on the website when booking.
Overall the only good thing about this hotel was when I left.
The staff were fantastic and the food I ate in the evening was great.

The sofa bed for my children wernt made up and it was after midnight when checked in & they were tired so had to wait for the security guard to make up the bed which took a while. Not happy at all.

The elevator needs some repair as well as the third floor main door
The room was adequate but very clean, food unpretentious, but well cooked and presented.
The staff were exceptionally helpful to me and everyone else there. They should be congratulated on creating a relaxed evening

A noise from another room can’t sleep all night
The racecourse
The lift was honestly terrifying to use. It was shaking badly as we entered, and then it suddenly stopped working while we were inside. We called for help several times, but unfortunately, no one came to assist us. Thankfully, the doors eventually opened and we were able to get out safely. To make matters worse, the lift didn’t even take us to the floor we were trying to reach. It was a very frightening and unpleasant experience.
The room was very well equipped, and very clean and well decorated.
Breakfast was excellent.
