Staff were really nice.
Room needs a complete renovation and the AC in the room was not very good. the bathroom extractor fan is terrible.
The breakfast was amazing and Phil and Sandra were attentive and nothing was to much trouble for them the room was clean but there were stains on the carpet and the desk chair had seen better days and tares in the curtain
I went to take the stairs and there was a window open and the smell of bird droppings was awful as was the sight of the huge pile of droppings
The hotel was very clean and the staff were all welcoming and friendly.

The staff were very pleasant and polite.
My room was not cleaned for the whole period. Only the bed was made, the carpets had food bits and was not cleaned, the bath tub was not cleaned, my tea cups with the left over tea and water glasses were not collected or replaced. You can tell from the condition of the carpets in the the room that cleaning is not the best. I didn't like the dinner, I ordered a cheese burger on the first night and asked for crispy bacon, but I got under done soft bacon, I couldn't eat it. The burger was also under done and tasted awful. The burger seemed cheap quality...I tried dinner again another evening and ordered Linguine Carbonara, it was awful, it was dry. I didn't know Holiday Inn standards had deteriorated this much. I am not staying at another holiday Inn again. The lift bounces when it gets to every floor, it's scary, it doesn't feel safe...

Location great if you are going to the racing it was my birthday and we got a complimentary drink which was nice.
Room was next to the janiters cupboard and the door was constantly banging so kept waking me up.
Couldn’t fault the service from checking to going for breakfast the next morning. The 2 ladies who was in the restaurant went above and beyond. Couldn’t fault them one bit.
Receptionist was very welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay. Room was very clean and very comfortable. Was overall a very nice stay.
