Loved the place. The staff were not very helpful
Pros:

The location was excellent. Loved the pool.

Cons:

They charged our card 2 times upon check in. Took everything we had in our bank to use on our vacation. The first 24 hrs we couldn’t do anything but sit in the room. Luckily I had a few groceries I brought with me that we were able to eat for supper. My husband had to do a bunch of back n forth with the staff to get them to release the second charge with our bank. We finally got our money back on the 3rd morning we were there. But that wasted 3 days of our 6 days of vacation. Also upon getting into the room on the first day there was an open soda, chicken leg wrapped in a paper napkin & a kfc box left in the refrigerator. So I just cleaned the refrigerator up myself.

Excellent stay! Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.. Lake view was amazing. The free breakfast was delicious! Couldn’t have asked for friendlier staff! Hope to be back soon!

The room we booked wasn’t what we thought we booked and it had a cigarette smoke small to it and musty smell and the view of the highway and not the lake so we had to pay extra to get what we were wanting when it should’ve been Lakeview all along

The lake was very pretty. The bed wasn't uncomfortable.

Cons:

Well, our room keys didnt work. The lady told me I probably held them too close to a phone. Reset them- still didnt work. They did finally fix the issue by giving us a different room. This room had a leak under the sink. I stepped in water in my sock (iykyk). Everything smelled like weed and cigarettes. The elevator hadn't been inspected, and the last inspection went out in March of this year. There was a spot in the elevator that if you stood in it you would probably fall through the floor. Overall- not the normal Wyndham experience. And the rooms are outside rooms, if that makes sense. Like. The doors go to outside, not an internal hallway. .maybe thats just a me thing. So, keep in mind, this is a franchise location.
Overall, not bad for a 2 night stay. Especially if you're doing lake things.

If I stayed there again I would ask to see the room before I committed.
Pros:

Located right on the lake with docks and gazebo. We could see the lake from our room.

Cons:

Everything was dirty and dusty. The floors needed sweeping and mopping.
