We enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

We liked the location. The room was clean and comfy and the staff was nice. We also really liked that they had name brand shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Cons:

The phone did not work properly along with the ice machine.

A really good budget hotel

I would have given this 5* but I save those for the places I go which go above and beyond.

This is a good Holiday Inn, a very good Holiday Inn which knows what it does and does it very well.

The rooms are spacious, clean and modern and offer everything you’d need for a stay in Los Angeles. It’s located close to the freeway and a close drive to all the best beaches and attractions in the locality.

Breakfast is a simple affair but is great as it’s included in the price. The hotel also offers a nice little pool and fitness centre for residents too.

If I were to talk about any negatives, it would be around the parking charges being hidden before arriving at the hotel (still cheaper than most places we looked at but advertising clearly stated free) and there were some days where the hotel had some large groups of kids visiting who weren’t particularly well behaved.

That said we’ll definitely stay here on our return to the area.

A well priced pleasant stay.
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay. Most of the front of house staff were lovely ( with the exception of 1 or 2 ) Very comfortable beds.

Cons:

It would have been helpful if the cleaning staff could have spoken English. With the exception of one lovely lady, nobody could communicate with us in English at all, I mean at all. It was very frustrating when we were trying to say that we needed fresh cups or towels etc.or when to come back to clean. The communication from the hotel when we had an issue with our deposit after we had left was also very poor
