We ended up leaving in the middle of the night to just go home.
Pros:

Room was big

Cons:

They have NO ICE in the whole hotel. No coffee pot in the room. They display an offering of assorted dishes, including a coffee pot, but when I asked for them they said they didn’t have any. After looking, I was given a box with 2 bowls, 2 plates and 4 knives. No spoons, forks, cups, etc. The house keeper was playing music and singing loudly out of the rooms she was cleaning. They must not be used to people actually sleeping. My mother works overnight and was trying to sleep during the day. Thank God we had headphones. The woman working the desk when we checked in really seemed to get annoyed with me when I was asking for ice and dishes.

Based on the price and reviews I expected something a bit nicer.
Pros:

Easy to get to

Cons:

When walking on the floors there were many spots that were soft in the hallway and the room. The room had a smell to it. I had to get some spray to get rid of the smell. The pillows are very cheap compared to most hotels I have stayed in. The bathtub looked disgusting. We didn’t even shower while we were there.

**DON’T STAY AT THESE HOTELS** Had reservations for 1 night, checked in after midnight & was charged an early check

It was actually the property at Extended Stay America - Jacksonville - Southside - St. Johns Towne CTR from Thu, Jul 31 - Fri, Aug 01! The hotel's check-in time is 03:00 PM. Arrived after midnight on the 31st & waited on someone to come open doors to front lobby to check in. Reservations were done on line & prepaid. Front desk employee said we had to pay an early check in fee of $85 because the night audit ran early. After 7:00am appointment on August 1st at Mayo, I checked out of hotel. Kip at the front desk said he would give the information to General manager Terrilynn & the $85 would be refunded because I did not check in early. Called back regarding the refund & The general manager said she could refund 50% because corporate controlled the nightly audit. Called corporate & spoke with Oscar & he stated he can not refund because the general manager said no. I ask to be provided a copy of their policy & fees regarding this charge & he stated at this time he could not provide one! A dispute is being done regarding charge with my bank.

The property is outdated and dirty. We checked in around 9:30 PM and checked out around 7:30 AM. Slept with the light on all night. Went to get a shower in the morning shower had no pressure in the water smelled
