Jai, Tad & DJ at AC Atlanta downtown went above and beyond for us! They were incredible. I’ve never witnessed better customer service!
Stayed here for one night for a game at Mercedes Benz. Parking was easy, the check in was easy with a really pleasant staff. The room was good for one night. The walk ever to the stadium is not bad maybe 10 minutes.
The hotel is expensive because it is one of the closest to the GA World Conference Center where many conferences are held. Downtown Atlanta hotels in general tend to be overpriced and underdeliver. Among conference area hotels, this one was average on price. The hotel was clean and offers free coffee in the mornings, which was great for early morning meetings. The room was clean and comfortable, but quite basic; it could have used more lighting and the hotel overall was fine but could use some general polishing with respect to overall wear and tear. Parking looked to be very expensive - so do factor that in to your overall price. I was able to walk and take MARTA to meet my needs. The closest station was just 3 blocks away and the best way to get to the airport and other points of interest. Front desk and maintenance staff were friendly and professional. This is not the kind of room I wanted to lounge around in - really more if you're on the go and just need a place to sleep at night. Didn't get a chance to visit the pool, but great that they have one!
This hotel has a nice vibe. The staff were really friendly, the location is great. We just really enjoyed it.
Service was awful, not friendly and always seemed like an incovenience. There are much nicer places to stay.
We stayed overnight for Breezy Bowl.
We enjoyed our stay and the room was nice.
The fire alarm went off 20 minutes after we arrived due to the steam of the shower which startled us.
No cups accompanied the coffee maker.
There was consistent thumping during the night. I was so glad when that neighbor went to sleep cause that meant I could too.
The elevator takes its dear sweet time.
Convenient location, we walked to the concert.
Thanks again
Demetrius (DJ) was so friendly and service was amazing. Very well spoken and knew a lot about the amenities and services.
The opening and closing of the room doors are very load and need to be improved
We had a wonderful stay and amazing experience in Atlanta.
Thank you so much for expelling the invaded frauster.
Everyone was very nice! I really enjoyed how clean the property was and how nice everyone was.
Very nice staff, clean room. Def would stay here again
Close to aquarium - nice hotel, GREAT BREAKFAST!
Great clean hotel! Elevators could work faster
We love AC Hotels and prefer Marriott properties for all our travels, however this was our worst experience at a Marriott hotel to date. The building needs some maintenance… the elevator was so loud and jerky that they had the service elevator available to use for guests, our room door had a 1/2 gap that left light and sound in from the hallway, the ceiling in our room had marks and smudges on it above the bed, the caulking in the bathroom was cracked and peeling, our sink didn’t look like it had been cleaned, our bed shirts had dirt and hair in them so we had to request new ones, and to top it all off self-parking was an uncovered lot across the street (in a not so safe part of town) and not operated by the hotel. We opted for valet for $50/night.
The public areas of the hotel were nice, but room and surrounding area will keep us from staying here again or recommending this hotel.
Great staff and location
The purpose of the trip was to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday. We arrived on the 6th in the Buckhead area to see the Simple Minds, Soft Cell and Modern English concert in the Amphitheatre at Chastain Park- on the 7th. It was an excellent concert. We stayed at another Marriott property there.
The next day we had a quick drive down to the Ac Hotel Atlanta downtown. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's maybe 40yds to the "5 Olympic ring" entrance to Centennial Park. The rest like the "Sky wheel", NCAA College Football HOF, The Georgia Aquarium (Why we where there.), Horse drawn carriage rides, many restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance. And do take time to enjoy the park as there are many shaded areas with water effects in there.
The Ac has very easy access from & to I-75 and a trolley which we didn't use. This is a modern styled property. The lobby had a wonderful "air" about but was very inviting at the same time. Front desk team greeted us before we got to them (Check-in and out was easy.) and the staff throughout our stay was exceptional! The room was very comfortable and being a side sleeper I found the bed to one of the comfortable I've had in awhile.
There is nice and quiet bar off the Main Lobby and a comfortable sitting area we made use of. Monday morning we had breakfast also though at was ~$19.00 per was very good and top notch "European Style" good selection, staff again excellent and the hours were more in line for relaxed travelers than business. We were not rushed and invited/or offered to get us anything we wanted as they were slowly breaking it down.
The property overall is well maintained and again the staff in all depts. we came across were more friendly then professional and I say this NOT IN A BAD WAY.
We departed Monday morning (10-11am) for home traffic was moving well for Atlanta.
We stopped on the only rest area on I-16E ~5 miles West of Dublin, Ga. reached for my car key cars and as we would find that were safe in our room at the Ac (Wife put a tracker on them so if we go shopping etc. she can find. I haven't had a cell phone since I retired from the Submarine Force in 2002. I don't miss it!). I called the hotel while there and Jia A. answered the call. Little did we know we would be touch by phone or email until 17 June (She was off from work.) when replying back to mine on the 15th letting her know I got them in the mail the day before.
She took it on and handled it throughout until completion of the "mission", there is no doubt in my mind had it been another team member they would've done the same.
Mr. Tanveer Dogar the GM and his team are running a "well oiled machine" there. The staff is motivated, friendly and professional throughout. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!! Saying that, and having worked and gone to college and beyond in the business (~15 years) please remember they might be off their game once in awhile as well just like the rest of us.
No joined later and worked in Submarine Navigation until I retired in 2002. And they still haven't found a way to put windows on them like the "Seaview'!?!

We were able to walk easy to sights
Jai/Front desk, Fran/Bar and Demetrius/Bell boy-Valet
were all wonderful. Demetrius always greeted me with a beautiful smile. Jai provided me with tools for a successful stay and Fran made the best drinks!
Grest place in the city
