Great location. Clean. We got exactly what we were expecting
Besides the room being gross and filthy, kc at the front desk was rude and disrespectful. She acted like it was a problem that we complained about the dirty room. And she called my 4 yr old stupid because she has a speech impediment and stutters. Its appalling that hilton would employ such a rude person to be at the front desk. Would definitely not recommend mt Vernon double tree

Room was dirty, shower was clogged with hair, rooms outdated, half eaten food left in fridge from previous guest, stains everywhere, carpet, comforter etc. The staff did their best, the young man that came to try to fix the shower was very nice. I had to move rooms.
The warm chocolate chip cookies, free bottles of water, the friendliness of your staff, the cleanliness of my room and bathroom, and that breakfast was included.
My experience was a good one. There's nothing I didn't like.
Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. There was a lot of soap scum build up in the shower. Someone's contact lens on the bathroom floor (I don't wear contacts). Lots of stains on carpet.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Included breakfast was a real plus, better than most.
The hotel staff were very friendly. Clean rooms, pool and restaurant.
The pool should have it mandatory for an adult to be with kids under 16 or so. We had to leave the pool 2 of the nights because kids were so rowdy in and outside of the pool. We didn't feel like our children were safe in the water with them acting like they were. I felt like we were babysitting other people's children.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was very coinvent for shops and restaurants. The breakfast the was included was amazing for a hotel breakfast.
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival, it appeared that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and the shower drain did not work correctly. The mini fridge, microwave, and dresser drawers were all dirty, and both the bed and bedding had noticeable stains.
Another frustration was the housekeeping schedule. We were not informed at check-in that housekeeping only services rooms every four days. Since our stay was four days long, our room was never cleaned during our visit. We found ourselves having to empty our own garbage and repeatedly request clean towels. Had we known this policy ahead of time, we could have planned accordingly.
While I understand that some hotels have reduced housekeeping services, this should be clearly communicated at check-in. More importantly, guests should expect to arrive to a room that has been thoroughly cleaned and maintained. The lack of cleanliness throughout the room significantly impacted our overall experience.
