I had a really wonderful stay at the Martinique, and it is now my go-to hotel for trips to New York. I wanted to be close to the train station, and this was perfect. Just a couple blocks away. So many great restaurants are right on the same block. And I needed a hard-line Ethernet connection for my work computer. At first they thought they didn't have them, but wonderful manager Tara really bent over backwards to help me, and they do in fact have them, on the newly installed Cisco routers on the wall. So this was a great place to get some work done. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved the old elegant touches in this historic building. I wasn't overly impressed with the food from their attached restaurant, the Csrnegie Deli, but they were very friendly and quick.
Fantastic location and service. Special thanks to everyone who made our stay comfortable. Rooms are clean and the view was lovely in my junior suite. Special thanks to Jose Florence and Karen and the gentleman at reception
The Martinique New York is ideally located on Broadway and 32nd street, within walking distance of many of the city's attractions, as well as Penn Central and several subway lines. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. The coffee shop in the lobby is super convenient and makes great coffee, breakfast and other treats, and the Carnegie diner is a great new dining option. One of our favorites for a drink after a day of sightseeing is the Golden Owl Bar right off the lobby. Everything is accesible right off the lobby! This was our second time at the Martinique, and we look forward to staying there every time we visit New York city!
We arrived with our family and Caroline at the front desk was very accommodating. She was friendly and helpful as this was our first time in NYC. We would recommend this location to others.
Super Lage, sehr nettes Personal, komfortables Zimmer.
2nd time here. Love it!
Bellman Mario went above & beyond!
As well as many of the other staff.
Thank Mario for helping me mail my post cards!!
I spent my 41st birthday at the Martinique Hotel, and it was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had. I work nearby and wanted a quiet, relaxing day to myself to reflect—and the Martinique made it unforgettable.
When I arrived, there was a thoughtful treat bag waiting for me in my room. Since I was celebrating alone, that gesture meant so much. It made me feel seen, appreciated, and genuinely cared for.
A very special thank-you to Hirenia from the guest services/lending team. Her kindness added such a meaningful touch to my stay.
The Martinique truly went above and beyond. The atmosphere, the service, and the personal touches were absolutely lovely. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay in NYC.
Great hotel with perfect location. Check in was smooth, the lovely receptionist Liz was so helpful providing us with water when I asked where we could get water at night from. The next day I did find the young gentleman a bit abrupt and difficult at reception not providing water, when all other staff were fine with it.
My main issue was that for a four star hotel which charges $46 per night amenity fee a fridge should have been provided. When we asked for a fridge we were told that we would have to pay an extra $5 per night for it, never had this before in a four star hotel. The concierge was super friendly and helpful, especially Mario who sorted us out a taxi for the airport and helped with our bags. It was a shame about the miserable staff in the lobby coffee shop.
Had such a great stay at the Martinique. As someone who travels a lot, I was honestly impressed by how spacious the room was (rare for NYC) and how clean everything felt. Also loved the CO Bigelow bath amenities. The location couldn’t be better for getting around, but the real standout was the staff. they made it feel personal. The very handsome gentleman at check-in immediately recognized my Hilton Diamond status, which I really appreciated. Big thank you to the whole team for such a seamless, enjoyable stay!
The Martinique is my home away from home in NYC & the staff has become like a second family. They always look out for me & make sure I get top tier service & accommodations. To say I stay here frequently is an understatement. I stay here exclusively & often extend my stay past business engagements simply because I am not ready to leave. My office is two blocks away & I often stay for the comfort & convenience. Walking distance to my work, Broadway & Macy’s Herald Square as well as so many incredible restaurants.
On my very first stay I wondered into the Bronze Owl which had just opened a few days prior. The bar and wait staff have changed over time but there are a few who know me very well since the start that I’d consider friends. A superior cocktail bar with amazing mixologists & a bar manager who continues to expand the menu & offers me something new to taste almost every time I take a seat at the bar. A very welcoming place which is equally responsible for my loyal patronage. Food is so good too!
Highly recommended to anybody staying in the area! Hilton is a great brand and I have been a loyalty member for many years. The Martinique is a Curio so it maintains its own unique brand and vibe.
The room size and central location are the biggest attraction, but the "feel" of the hotel is what keeps us coming back.
