From the time we walked in the door we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. Mr. Leon (concierge) assisted with storing our bags since our rooms were not ready and assisted us with all the questions we had about attractions nearby. He even asked when we were leaving to ensure we had the best experience while we were here.
hilton was nice standard leon was an excellent helper throughout our stay
The Martinique is my favorite hotel in the city. The rooms are quite large compared to most comparably priced hotels, plus they are quiet, clean, and the beds are comfortable. I usually don't sleep well when I travel, but the Martinique is the exception to that. The location is excellent, just a block from Penn Station, so great access to mid-town and to public transportation to get around Manhattan. The friendly and accommodating staff is the best part. Babacar and Sofia stand out as the best of the best. They are always ready to help and make sure that my stay is perfect.
Great location. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean.
NYC prices (but that's everywhere because it's Manhattan). Also, the food from the cafe wasn't that good. The restaurant food was good but the muffins, etc. had that "refrigerator taste."
Celebrating daughter’s high school graduation with our first trip to NY. We had the BEST time! Great location and hotel was beautiful with easy access to subway. Carnegie Hall restaurant below had amazing food!
Location is very convenient to Penn Station and a reasonable walk from the Broadway theater district. Breakfast was great and $15 credit was an incentive. Had great conversations with a couple of very friendly staff members while sitting in the lobby.
No complaints.
Given the prices of NYC hotels, I chose this option because of its rather surprising affordability, and was therefore a bit nervous about what the quality would be. I was pleasantly surprised on that front as well. Now that I've already checked out, I have no problem declaring: this hotel should charge more!
The location is on 32nd Street, a stretch of Koreatown just south of Herald Square, and thus convenient to both PATH and several subway lines. We found it easy to get around to far flung places around the city and felt perfectly safe walking back here after dinners in midtown.
Our room was a bit cramped, but of course this is a big-city hotel, so you're not expecting a roomy beach resort suite. Furnishings were modern and the queen-sized bed rated 8/10. The space was very functional, and let's face it--if you're spending time on your NYC visit hanging out inside your hotel room, you're clearly doing it wrong.
The lobby has a coffee bar with all your specialty coffee options and a full-on diner.
Overall, a totally respectable option at a very reasonable price, and I say this as a traveler who's been recently spoiled by stays at high-end resorts!
Such a great hotel. Perfect spot for a night away and staff were great!
The hotel concierge men are amazingzing. Mario and Leon made us feel valued and comfortable: always a smile and an enthusiastic hello. Truly the best part of our stay.
L’emplacement, la chambre plutôt grande, le dîner juste à côté, le personnel
En réparation même si aucun bruit
Everything was very clean, excellent service and beautiful building
Great location. All comfortable. Best Dinner in town. Customer service perfect. I will come back again and again.
Just returned from singing at Carnegie Hall with 130 other women from all over the country. We stayed at the Martinique New York on Broadway hotel. I can honestly say that every single person we encountered during that one week stay was exceptional. In particular i’d like to call attention too the gentleman named JOSE who was like my guardian angel when things started to go sideways with my transfer to JFK airport. He made sure that everything was secured and calmed me when I became upset. Over and above what one would expect from anybody working in any hotel anywhere in the world. Thank you, Jose! You saved the day and I will remember you!👏💖😊
We had a wonderful stay at the Martinique Hotel. It’s located within walking distance from Broadway and Times Square. The beds were very comfortable with fluffy duvets and pillows, and efficient temperature control so that we were able to keep the room cool enough for sleeping well. The shower’s water pressure was excellent.
We also spent time at the Carnegie Restaurant and Bronze Owl, which were great. But the best of all was meeting Juan. He was so sweet, ensured that our bags were safe before our flight, and then got us a taxi when it was time for our flight. Juan was warm and welcoming, and as a woman traveling in NYC, his generous personality was very appreciated. I will recommend the Martinique as a wonderful place to stay!
The Martinique Hotel was a perfect stay for our long weekend. Centrally located, east to walk to Penn Station, MGS, Empire State building and walkable for most sites. The service was very good, from front desk to cafe staff, all friendly and helpful. We were 7 floors up and it was really quiet. The exterior of the building was covered in scaffolding for repairs so we couldn't see out the windows, but we were not there much, so it was okay, thus the reason for the 4 star rating. I'd stay there again.
Mario gave us fabulous help at the front door. Top notch person. Very personable.
