Days Inn by Wyndham Plattsburgh

Called 4 times in the morning of the stay. Did not answer the phone until the 5th try hours later to confirm check in time and parking. The hotel confirmed everything. Got to the hotel and they had overbooked multiple people who were standing in the lobby. They cancelled our reservation while we were in the lobby. The staff tried his best but it was his first night working alone and he had no idea what he was doing.

Missing coffee maker and breakfast ended at 9:

Days Inn Plattsburgh, New York, was absolutely disgusting. We had no choice but to book on Friday, October 23rd. because nothing else was available that weekend, and we regret it deeply. From the moment we walked in, the room was shocking, dirty carpets, stained microwave, peeling ceilings, terrible smell, cockroaches, garbage in the parking lot, rude, unprofessional staff who never smiled, and a depressing atmosphere made us feel completely unwelcome. And to make it worse, the general manager refused to return our calls. Why ignore paying customers? This kind of lack of response is unprofessional, and disappointing. We only booked there because there were no other rooms available that Friday. If we’d had options, we never would have chosen this place. Think twice, don’t book here, save your money and avoid the stress. Book somewhere else. Do not make the same mistake we did.

Asked for room away from the interstate side - got a room on the road side right next to the elevator.
The A/C unit did not work at all.

The two roaches found crawling on the ground, the dusty night stand, and the light that flickered then turned off

Room was dirty (dirty towels, used Kleenex on the dresser, mold on the wall behind the peeled wallpaper), wifi went out multiple times, pool wasn’t open.

Maybe more verity of fresh fruit .

The room was disgusting. The bed sheets smelled like they were washed without detergent. There was feces on the outside of the toilet bowl. The bathroom floor looked like it was never mopped. The carpet was filthy. The safety lock on one of the entrance/exit doors was not working and anyone could enter without keying it. There's much more but I think that's enough to start with.

Pas propre

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff working here will steal your belongings if you happen to leave anything behind by mistake. In our case, they took money from a wallet we had left behind—specifically, the staff responsible for cleaning the rooms. Anyone staying at this hotel should personally look after their own belongings and ensure that nothing is left in the room; otherwise, these people will hide it. The staff at this hotel are not good people.

Room wasn’t ready, we got there 20 minute prior to check in time. We were told it wouldn’t be ready on time because they were full last night, but to just call them to check on it. Kept losing tv/internet, phone in room didn’t work, so we had to walk all the way back down to front desk to complain. Person at front desk was in sweat shirt and leggings. The upholstered chair/ottoman were pretty dirty, I covered it with a towel to be able to sit in it. Complimentary breakfast was ok, but coffee wasn’t hot.
