Good hotel but like so many businesses staffing is sub par. Person on staff was kind and courteous.
Cons:

Checked in at 9:30pm and front desk staff was no where to be found. After wandering into lobby conference rooms, kitchen and service hallway no person was there. Knocked on an office door even. After about 20 minutes someone walked out from somewhere saying don’t be mad it’s only me here.
Also she said holiday inn just last week discontinued their complimentary breakfast. Not a great way to end the day. Luckily the room was quiet and bed was comfortable.

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, large, clean and comfy. The location was great for visiting UVA.

Cons:

The free breakfast was not the best. I tried the eggs and they were a little to soupy and one bite was a little chunky and ruined the rest of the eggs for me. I was not a fan of the sliced kubosa that was served.

Pros:

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Very friendly and helpful!! Everyone was so helpful. Even the guy that came in to clean up in the morning went back and got some coffee creamer for us. He didn't tell someone else he just did it!! Very impressed by the staff!!

Cons:

The only thing we didn't like has nothing to do with the business.😁 The traffic is horrible around the place and we were told you can't make a left turn. So we have to turn right and go down the road and turn around. That's just a waste of time.

Hotel needs some updating
Pros:

Great location
Efficient staff for a busy grad weekend

Cons:

Should be able to control your own air conditioning. Having a controller that won’t go below 69 is not acceptable. If the room is hot should be able to turn it down regardless of the controller number.

It was disappointing.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The hotel was fairly convenient. There was free breakfast.

Cons:

There was mold in the tub, there were loud partying guests at 7 in the morning near our room. We were tired from travel and intended to sleep in. We called the front desk and eventually maybe another 30 minutes they stopped the loud partying.The breakfast was sub standard.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

The beds were especially comfortable. It was a surprise that breakfast was complimentary as well.

Cons:

It was stated that we could check in at 3pm and they also have a sign behind the check in desk but the room was not ready when we got there at 4pm. The concierge was helpful in calling with me at 4:20 to tell me that the room was finally ready.
