The Bates Motel⁹
Pros:

The only thing that I liked was the fact that my state was over when it was.

Cons:

I did not like anything there this place needs to be condemned I have never stayed in a hotel or motel or whatever this is called like this ever in my life. The building is very old water was everywhere when it wasn't even raining half of the building is shut down boarded up. The commode was dirty with someone else's urine all over it we had to clean the bathroom ourselves. There was blood on the walls the couch was nasty look like it might have been bed bug infested the bed had some type of stink men cologne on it to mask the funk. they did not wash the spread the sheets was okay but the spread definitely was not washed. There was dust everywhere the furniture was old. Everything looked nasty I was sick to my stomach to stay in this place and the only reason why I stayed and did not leave was because they force you to pay without a refund. Had I known Virginia had I known this place I would have never stayed here next time anytime someone stay in a hotel always do a street view because the pictures that they post are very deceiving. This place was so nasty until I didn't even want to eat inside the room we left and stayed all day as long as we could until we got sleepy and then we came and stayed only to sleep that was it and took a shower. The towels or the rags or whatever they want to call it I was scared to even wash with them because they were so thin look like they came from the Dollar Tree they were stained there wasn't white like they should have been. We had the cheapest toilet tissue that did not even last a day because it was so thin and very little on the roll.

The stay was fine once I was givin clean sheets and I cleaned the headboard.

Our bed was dirty, someone had slept in it and it had just been remade, that was seriously so disgusting. I had to clean the headboard too bc there was a bunch of gross I don’t even know what. I took photos and videos, I can post them if needed.

This Clarion Inn is fine for what I needed - an overnight stop on a trip.
Pros:

Restaurant attached to the motel. Check in staff was friendly and capable.

Cons:

Older building. It has quite a few miles on it. Dated decor, older furnishings.

Pros:

Price, check-in time

Cons:

Room deposit cost more than the room for one night! Overall condition of entire property was poor and run down. Lock on door was unacceptable. Everything else was ok. We got wha we paid for.
