Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center Cheyenne

Ryan at the front desk went above and beyond all of my expectations. I had trouble with my booking not showing up within the system and Ryan worked so hard to get me squared away. Not only was he extremely helpful to me another gentleman walked up and Ryan was helping him while on hold with their service provider for me. Talk about a five star employee!

At booking I was told the current rate would be locked in for all the days I booked at that time. They charged me more for every night after the 1st night. They also added a daily energy surcharge in addition to the accommodation and tax.

The moment we opened the door to our room we said to each other “this was the right choice.” After a long day of travel and getting in very late, coming in to a clean room where we could smell our linens IMMEDIATELY had that fresh laundry smell was exactly what we needed - and what everyone wants in a hotel room! It was so cozy and the pillows were amazing. The coffee was great, the breakfast buffet was solid with a lot of options, the room felt very upscale for the price, and the people were SO friendly/helpful. I’m someone who always maximizes choices - trying to find the best value (as much luxury without breaking the bank!), and this was definitely it. Will definitely stay here again if we pass through!

The bed was amazingly comfortable and room was clean. The bathroom light was very dim. There was no parking or traffic noise but you could everything from the hall. The continental breakfast did not have any options for diabetics, except scrabled eggs. However non of the cuns would stop me from staying again. Great place for a great price.

Breakfast was good. There were no potatoes when i showed up and no sausage for a meat. The waffles were a bit dry. But it was something. Thank you for the stay.

Safe, quiet, easy access to highway

Renovations are happening. Room was newly renovated and clean but wasn’t what we reserved. The line for check in was long for 2 hours so we never were able to get moved. Also the breakfast had no meat option and no fresh fruit

The hotel was ok. Under some construction at the time but overall nice, staff were nice.

This was our third stay here. Rooms are clean and quiet. Service was great and check in was fast and easy. The breakfast goes way beyond continental and always has a good protein option. The hotel is undergoing a long remodeling process but the work has never made our visit uncomfortable. We will likely stay again. Price was great.

It was dirty had bugs all over the room the food at the bar was old and rotten the staff was rude and refused to give me a receipt there was mold on the chairs and pillow cases the free breakfast was disgusting and filthy for 110 a night you would think you are staying somewhere decent but this place is the armpit of Cheyenne.

Well, we arrived quite late so we were tired. The front desk was very friendly and helpful, assisting us with our luggage cart, etc. In our handicap accessible room, he lowered the coffee maker for us. Nice guy. First thing right away we noticed there was no hand soap at the bathroom sink. We called the front desk and they sent some up right away. I think they use a toilet that conserves water because we found our waste didn’t flush completely even after several flushes. I thought I reserved a handicap accessible room with a roll-in shower, but I might be mistaken on that. The shower was “accessible” but not roll-in. We adapted cause that’s what we do. ;) When we turned down the sheets of our bed, there was a dead fly laying in the bed. I about died! If I hadn’t have been so tired I would’ve demanded someone come up and change the sheets but we were exhausted. When we turned on the tv, on the screen was a message “software upgrade! Do not power off!” The upgrade didn’t progress so we couldn’t change the channel or volume. Other than the desk staff being so kind and the beds so comfortable, our stay wasn’t considered satisfactory.

The property is being renovated, being brought back to a premier hotel. Rooms are more electronic device friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We weren’t notified that the billing was under construction and the noise from the highway. You could hear all the semis at night..

Was a good stay. But the bathroom door was hard to open and close.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, so there was construction materials and equipment around which is the only reason why I gave it four stars for the condition of the facility, cleanliness, and area around the facility. Even though they were renovating there wasn't any construction noise, dust, or dirt. The front desk staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The room was really nice. We would stay here again.
