Ramada by Wyndham Abbotsford

The property is very rundown and needs upgrades. Wallpaper peeling, floor not cleaned . Hole in bathroom wall from door handle, sizeable gap under door that leads directly to the outside and minimal soundproofing. However, nice hot tub and pool area, pleasant staff and the breakfast was perfectly adequate.

Carpets are smelly, the balcony is ok, never visited gym, staff is ok

it was excellent experience at this place . staff is really friendly and helpful.

We had to move to rooms considering our first room had severe water damage, roof was disgustingly patched/damaged. Shower water would not drain (clogged with hair). Hair in the shower (that was not ours).

Our second room had burn marks and really gross stains, shower also had hairs on the shower walls. I usually like to give hotels the benefit of the doubt, but both rooms so rather gross not cleaned properly at all.

The first room they gave me had blood on the floor. They told me it was paint, but nothing that color is painted in that room anywhere.
The second room they gave me the drawer on the hutch wouldn't close at all, and the hutch itself wobbled so badly,im surprised it didn't fall on its own. But the mini fridge kept it from falling upon itself.
The shower curtain was too short to even keep the water inside the tub, the handle for the shower water came off mid-shower and like wow...
Better not charge me for that.
The floor flet like it was so water damaged you could feel the stickiness in it...
Ive traveled alot and stayed in many hotels, this is the worst I've ever seen.
If I have to rate it outta 10, I would give it a 0.5 over all...
Half a point for keeping me dry at least from all the rain the night before.

This hotel is in terrible shape. The drapes were gross. Furniture in terrible condition. Paint off door. I should have looked at the reviews before booking but I thought being a Ramada inn it would have certain standards. It was very disappointing. I just felt like the room even if deep cleaned would be gross

Unit was in need of all walls being re surfaced. Big dents in walls, as if punched. Too many instances of the walls being in need of Reno. The walls are covered in wallpaper, right over top of many closed off holes, or maybe now not working machinery. Too spooky. It made me feel quite unclean. Bed was sketchy, with an old bedspread folded to fit the exact top area. Then another old bedspread on top. 3 small sofa size pillows on the bed. Just not a comfortable or safe vibe. Can’t explain it well.

This hotel is filthy, visible blood stains on the bedding, visible stains on the curtains mould in the bathroom visible water damage on the ceiling. messy patch work to cover up holes in the walls. Carpet was filthy with stains and it smelt like urine bathroom toilet was dirty. Fridge was dirty towels were dirty with stains. This is not a place that you would stay with a family or children there is people with addiction, squatting around the hotel using drugs right outside the hotel. if you try to check out early, the owner will still charge you for half a day, which is ridiculous. All photos for this hotel are Photoshopped. The rooms do not look even close to what they put on the website. I highly recommend you asked to see the room before booking. Otherwise if you try to check out early, the owner will charge you for half a day stay even if you choose to leave early.

I read some pretty bad reviews but my experience was very good.

The staff were fine and the linens we clean but the condition of the property was rough. The shower dripped all night and the caulking was filled with black mildew - I was not comfortable using it. There had obviously been significant leaks in the past as the ceiling was roughly patched and stained. Won't be staying here again
