We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport (Richmond) during a flight connection. Our flight arrived past midnight, and it was such a relief to see the hotel shuttle waiting right as we exited the airport—very convenient and stress-free.
Check-in was smooth, and Emily and Raphael were especially warm and welcoming. As Platinum Elite members, we were pleasantly surprised with some thoughtful treats from the snack bar, which made us feel truly valued.
The buffet breakfast the next morning was simple but had everything we needed to get our day started. Despite the shuttle being fully booked for our departure, Christian quickly arranged two cabs for our family of five so we could continue our journey without delay.
Overall, it was a comfortable and well-managed stay with excellent service throughout. Highly recommended for anyone needing a convenient airport hotel.
A really good hotel for an airport stopover. Really well equipped large rooms with quality furnishings. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Good gym. Comfortable and relaxed.
It on a busy highway so can be a bit noisy but didn't bother us too much. No bar in hotel or place to relax.
Cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism of the staff and breakfast was quite good. Shuttle service was very efficient.

We liked the location and proximity to the airport.
We had emailed ahead to let the hotel know we were coming in late on our flight from Cancun and we confirmed the shuttle. Upon a very late arrival we missed the last shuttle at 1:00am. We were VERY frustrated to hear we were to take a Taxi and to be reimbursed up to $25 and we were reassured that it should not be more than this price.
Once out at the Taxi pickup the next Taxi pulled up and we jumped in to be told that it was cash and $31 dollars despite it only being about 4km at best. The sign at the Taxi stand said $24 dollars at the MOST for our zone. We were NOT impressed and I will never take a Taxi again at YVR without confirming details prior to entering. We felt CAPTIVE and knew we were not getting our money back from the hotel The driver also did NOT want us to take a photo of our information. It was all VERY shady and made us feel very unnerved after a long day of travel home from Mexico. NEVER again would I plan to arrive with arrangements like this and, again I feel YVR is at fault with allowing practices such as we experienced. It was unpleasant to say the least and it reflected poorly on the Holiday Inn Express as the Taxi did not provide an appropriate receipt with no name etc. We were reimbursed $25 but not the $31 and despite it being only $5.00 it, again, was very uncomfortable for us and left a negative feeling about it all

I originally made a booking at the Holiday Inn Express Richmond, but accidentally booked it for the wrong date and arrived a day early (and at 10:30 pm)! Despite the mix-up, the experience turned out to be incredibly positive thanks to the outstanding service I received.
The young man at the front desk around 10:30 pm wasn’t able to accommodate us at that location, but he went above and beyond by calling their sister hotel the Holiday Inn on Cambie Street, to check for availability. Not only did they have a room, but they also honoured the same rate I had originally booked—something I truly appreciated.
The Holiday Inn on Cambie is lovely. The rooms are modern, the beds are very comfortable, and it’s nice and quiet. The included breakfast is fantastic as well.
We’ve stayed at both Holiday Inns multiple times and will continue to do so whenever we’re flying out for a holiday.
A huge thank you to that front desk agent for his initiative, kindness, and exceptional customer service—he truly went above and beyond. Thank you so much!
