Room was large and comfortable.
We stayed here a day before leaving on an Alaska cruise. This hotel was perfect. Location is superb. Only ten minute walk from the train and across the street from restaurants and shops in case you’ve forgotten anything. The hotel was extremely clean, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. They have everything you could need if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. They even have microwaveable meals if you need to have dinner in your room. Toiletries, snacks etc available for purchase. If you do leave there is an excellent sushi restaurant right across the street. This is hands down the best place to stay if you’re headed for a cruise and get in a day early. Couldn’t have been happier.

The location is very good as it’s in Richmond and very near the airport. Also having carpark facilities is so very convenient. The breakfast has really excellent spread despite the small restaurant space. Your breakfast staff are really commendable. The rooms are so spacious & well furnished.
I would love to give a much higher rating if not for what happened to our friend’s room in 518. The toilet bowl was badly choked when they returned in the evening. The staff did not handle the call well & the situation was very mishandled. The couple was not expecting an immediate solution as they understand it was at night. But there was no assurance of a service personnel to be sent in the morning. Instead they were given a rubber plunger to do the clearing themselves. On top of that, the reception staff reminded them that this service is the usual norm for all choking & it was what to expect as this is IHG express. I think this is very unprofessional service for a hotel industry of your country regardless of the class of hotel a customer chooses.
The room itself was comfortable and the shuffle to the airport was fine.However, there is no amenities in this hotel such as a restaurant or a bar and a taxi will be needed to go anywhere nearby, but my biggest gripe is 8 days later and they still have not refunded the deposit they took off me at check.In this is completely unacceptable.They must make millions of dollars holding onto customers money for over a week.
