Location Friendly
Pros:

Great location for city sightseeing this hotel offers a good standard of accommodation and service. There are currently renovation works in progress which means there's no evening restaurant facility and the reception area is a temporary arrangement. Apparently these works should be completed by end of August 2026. This said we suffered no issues with noise or disruption. The staff here are friendly and helpful and there remains a concierge service despite the temporary reception. The rooms are in need of a little maintenance - cupboard doors that wobble, furniture that is tarnished, shaving mirrors that need fixing, but they are clean and well appointed. Breakfast is available in a nicely decorated dining area and the food and service are good offering a nice selection of breakfast fare including freshy cooked eggs to order. It's a hotel to return to when the refurbishment is completed especially to sample the new restaurant.

Pros:

La centralità dell'Hotel, la cortesia e gentilezza dello staff, la colazione abbondante e servita perfettamente

Cons:

Le camere, molto molto sporche, tantissima polvere. divani lisi e pieni di polvere.
Nella prima stanza, che abbiamo voluto cambiare, puzza di fumo in modo eccessivo, oltre la puzza della polvere che era tangibile. Nella seconda stanza, ancora puzza di fumo ma meno rispetto alla prima..... ma le camere sporche e polverose come poche volte ho avuto il dispiacere di averle. un rapporto prezzo qualità pessimo. Forse avrebbe dovuto avere 1 stella

Climatisation de chambre ne fonctionnait pas bien de tout, ils ont dû nous changer de chambre mais la nouvelle ne fonctionnait pas super bien non plus.

Ubicazione centrale, ma camere che necessitano di ristrutturazione, anche se in Francia mancava il bidet e il bagno con il wc era
Piccolo chiuso e senza finestra e la camera era una delle migliori suite

Very pleasant overall
Pros:

Great location but the property is a bit tired, however to be fair they are about to go through a room renovation. so hopefully that will bring the rooms up to a more pleasant standard

Cons:

All good to be honest, the rooms as I stated before were a bit tired and in need of a refresh.

Perfekt für einen weekend stop!
Pros:

Die Lage ist top. Mittendrin ! Die Qualität der Betten und die Isolation innerhalb des Hotels. Man hört nichts! Super! Charme des Hotels!

Cons:

Das Hotel ist im Laufe der Zeit nun etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hat Renovationsbedarf. Die Grösse der Halle, bzw. Reception ist viel zu klein!

Me gustó mucho el propio edificio y su decoración interior, la comodidad y amplitud de la habitación, el desayuno muy completo, con mucha variedad para elegir, la ubicación pero, sobre todo, el personal muy atento y agradable. Muy recomendable.

Do not stay here until the remodel is completed
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as a family of four, we booked 2 rooms. The hotel deserves 2 stars for the location and the air conditioning working well during a heat wave. The location is central to most everything in Lyon and we never had to take an Uber or Taxi.

The hotel is very worn and dated. It is severe need of repair and updating. There is a remodel/refresh planned for 2027. That did not help our visit in June of 2026.

One of our rooms smelled very musty. There are cracks, chips, stains, general grittiness everywhere you look. We never had hot water for a shower, mildly warm was the normal temperature. See the attached pictures.
