Pros:

Property was beautiful, the acrobatics team was a pleasure throughout the property and the shows.

Cons:

They had a cappuccino machine, which was filled with ants. So when you dispersed a coffee, if you looked closely, you’d realize there are ants filled in it.

Old style vibes and a quality stay
Pros:

Such a pleasure to be at Stanley. Always stayed at more expensive hotels in Nairobi and Stanley is first choice from here. Staff so attentive, food is good, rooms as good as anywhere. The place has character and the whole vibe is old wood and history.

My stay at Stanley Sarova Hotel during Africa Urban Forum #AUF2026.
Pros:

I had a good experience. The team was very warm. The place and rooms were very cleans and well maintained. Foods were of good quality. The place is in itself a museum of more that a century story.

I can’t forget to mention M. Steve, Ms Millicent, Ms Keziah, Ms Brenda and Ms Rachael.

Best Hideaway in Nairobi CBD
Pros:

This is a wonderful respite in the middle of the chaos that is the CBD. We wanted just a good lunch and we found exceptional.
Thai Chi at The Stanley was delicious and our server, Alex Kumani , felt more like concierge. He was so attentive and anticipating our needs and wants. So welcome! Because of him, we now know where our family and business family will stay when they come to Kenya.

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay with top notch service from lovely and well trained staff.
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it has a nice olde world feel about it that is very comforting and relaxing. The facilities and bars are great with excellent service, the breakfasts and packed lunches for safaris were plentiful and delicious and the Thai in-house restaurant exceptionally good in terms of cuisine, service and ambience.

Cons:

Very little, it’s a nice property all round.

Luxury, Comfort, and Amazing Service
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Sarova Stanley with our family, including our 2.5-year-old baby. The hotel is luxurious, the rooms are very clean, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive.
The location is perfect, and we truly appreciated how thoughtful everyone was, especially with our baby’s needs.
A special thank you to Caroline for her constant attention, and to Victoria from the restaurant for her kindness and excellent service.
Everything was excellent—we highly recommend this hotel!

A short but very enjoyable stay at the Sarova Stanley Hotel.
Pros:

Well looked after by all staff we met. Good wifi connection. Excellent Thai restaurant and great atmosphere at the lounge on the first floor. Room was a good size with a very large comfortable bed. Hotel kept it's standardfs as I was there last about 10 years ago.

Cons:

The sweets at breakfast not very tasty. Took verty long for hot water to reach shower.
