Pros:

Stay was ok. Staff were nice. Had dinner there. The dining room was very cold and dull. People sitting with jackets on. Lacked any ambience.

great for the money! perfect for a stop over on a really long journey

staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean, breakfast was fine, easy to find and good location

Cons:

the room opposite us had a dog in that had been left alone and was non stop howling from when the owner left it. Maybe pet friendly and non pet friendly rooms should be in different areas? staff did offer to move us but it was already very late and one of my kids was asleep so the staff member kept coming to the hall way and making small noises which seemed to settle the dog. very helpful staff

Additional parking charge. This was discounted as guests but £7 for the night felt cheeky and was not clear in the listing. They also had not set up the cot that was requested but had set up a sofa bed instead. This was quickly resolved however.
