Good breakfast
Pros:

Location is very good. Monique was very helpful getting our luggage into the building. Front desk was very efficient. Room was very modern but somewhat spartan. Beds were comfortable. Getting the TV on was challenging. Perhaps written directions in the room would be helpful. Hallway carpet was very spotted and in need of cleaning or replacement.

Cons:

This hotel was advertised as having a pool, it did not say that the pool was next door and you would have to walk outside and thru the back hallways of the other hotel to get to it and down two fights of stairs which I could not access with a broken leg so my granddaughter was very disappointed she could not swim.
The phone would randomly start flashing a red light that there was a message and it said it was recorded in April and could not be cleared. The air quality monitor was flashing red as well and even though both were silent, the light woke me several times.

Not up to Holiday Inn standards
Cons:

We ended up changing rooms since the first room had broken tiles and the caulking around the bathtub was cracked and missing in places but the main problem was the carpet was soaking wet by the bed. Not what I expected from Holiday Inn.

Overall it was okay. Breakfast ruined it.
Pros:

The breakfast had issues. The bacon was chewed. I was going to have a bowl of cereal. Got a carton that still had 4 days till expiration and when I poured it on the cereal it was curdled. Needless to say I threw it out.

Comfortable stay. But you need your own pool
Pros:

The bed and the room were very comfortable.

Cons:

I was under the impression that the hotel had a pool when I booked the stay. I didn’t not expect to have to go to the Crowne Plaza and go to the top floor to get to their pool. I was disappointed with that. Had I known that I would’ve booked the Crown Plaza

Pool was not usable while I was there and it was literally the ONLY reason for my booking a stay.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the room and breakfast areas were very clean and well maintained.

Cons:

The only reason I booked the stay was so that my 5 year old grandchild could come use the pool with me for a special treat during Spring Break. Otherwise, I usually happily just stay with them at their house around the corner. Unfortunately, the pool was not usable for the duration of my stay. I mentioned this circumstance at the front desk just after check in and said I would have cancelled had I known there would not be a pool to use, and he just said it was out of their control. That is probably true, but I was very disappointed and would have appreciated an offer to still cancel or have some other adjustment for the inconvenience.
