Location and staff.
Room was muggy, carpet needs to be thrown out and remodeled. TV was old.
We were in Goldsboro for a softball tournament with my daughter. The location and a few staff members were the only positive thing about this hotel.
The rooms, yes, many of our rooms, had ceiling leaks. We had storms roll through and the entire wall was leaking. The floor was soaking wet the next morning. We reported it and were offered another room, but it was very late and we were leaving the next morning. The washer and dryer stopped working. The pool was a hit but when we went to use the pool with our kids at a later time in the day, there was always groups of people activity smoking weed. The breakfast was ok but not many options for that size hotel. The elevator continuously got stuck with guest on it. When the front staff was made aware of these issues, they did try to accommodate you, but I was never offered a refund or any money back for how my stay went. I have 3 small children with me and the amount of leakage in our walk was enough to deserve a refund. Next time we will pay more attention to the reviews before booking a hotel.
A little loved the Jacuzzi tub
We told and asked if someone could unclog the toilet because apparently that our toilet got clogged, and nobody came and unclog it

Housekeeping walked right into our room without a knock and we were getting dressed for the wedding. Also the following morning at 0900, housekeeping was knocking on our door asking us if we were checking out that day or staying another night. It was 0900, we were still in bed. When I told the front desk person, he just shrugged it off like no big deal that was housekeeping.
The breakfast and staff were great. The elevators weren’t working properly so I had to take the stairs quite a bit but I need the exercise.
I had an ex girlfriend show up at the hotel when she saw my truck, and one of the staff members told her what room I was in, so she could harass me. That was not ok in my book. However, when I called the front desk to ask someone what to do, the gentleman working at that time said he’d ask her to leave, and he did. So it was resolved.
