Cons:

Poor selection of tv channels for kids, Luke warm shower, freezing pool, scaling hot tub, poorly stocked room with towels staff refused to send towels up, traveling alone with young child was inconvenient to bathe her. The room had two bath towels and they are charging 300/night. It was early in the day, housekeeping was still on site. There were also no pool towels in the pool area available and the hot tub had gross accumulation floating and a ring around. The pool skimmer was also not on and had hair and particles floating.

The breakfast was pretty good. The pool and the hot tub were very nice

The price. Holiday Inn is no better than other hotels along that section, yet their prices are usually 5 times higher.

We were very disappointed. Elevator was broken. Assured of 1sr floor room, but didn't get one

Cons:

Das Hotel war eine Baustelle und hatte es auch bitter nötig. Lärm und Schmutz waren die Folge; Frühstück mußte im Fitneß-Raum (!) abholt und auf dem Zimmer verzehrt werden. Fußboden im Zimmer total verschlissen (sh Foto), ein Eldorado für Schmutz und Keime. In Europa hätte ich storniert und hätte nicht eingecheckt, Aber ein langwieriger Prozeß in USA um Geld zurück zu erhalten, kam nicht in Betracht. Auf die Mängel angesprochen reagierte das Personal abweisend und die Frage nach einem Preisnachlaß wurde schroff zurückgewiesen. Die Weiterführung des Hotelbetriebes während umfangreicher Baumaßnahmen ist m.E. unverantwortlich, nicht zuletzt auch wegen der damit verbundenen Unfallgefahren.
